Responsabilidades y Funciones 

• Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener soluciones robustas utilizando Ruby on Rails asegurando calidad, escalabilidad y buenas prácticas de arquitectura
• Participar activamente en decisiones técnicas, proponiendo mejoras y asegurando estándares de desarrollo alineados a un entorno senior
• Colaborar con equipos multidisciplinarios aportando comunicación clara, criterio técnico y liderazgo informal
• Optimizar rendimiento y estabilidad de aplicaciones mediante el uso eficiente de bases de datos, motores de búsqueda y sistemas de procesamiento asíncrono

Requisitos y Habilidades 

• Experiencia avanzada en Ruby on Rails
• Dominio avanzado de MySQL incluyendo modelado y optimización de consultas
• Experiencia intermedia trabajando con React
• Experiencia intermedia con Redis y Sidekiq para manejo de procesos asíncronos
• Experiencia intermedia con ElasticSearch para búsquedas y optimización de consultas
• Conocimiento intermedio en Python con disposición real para seguir desarrollándose en este lenguaje
• Conocimiento deseable en TypeScript
• Experiencia en diseño de arquitecturas escalables y buenas prácticas de desarrollo
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y capacidad para interactuar con stakeholders técnicos y no técnicos

Job Summary 

As a Senior Go and Ruby Developer (19695), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.  

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, resilient, and scalable cloud-native backend systems that power mission-critical cybersecurity platform services
• Lead end-to-end software delivery from architecture and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
• Architect and optimize distributed microservices running on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring reliability, observability, and performance at scale
• Mentor engineers, participate in architecture discussions and code reviews, and drive engineering excellence through best practices, automation, and modern SDLC processes

Qualifications and Skills 

• 7+ years of experience in backend engineering or distributed systems development within production-grade environments
• 4+ years of expert-level experience with Go (Golang), building scalable and high-performance backend services
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and gRPC-based service communication
• Proven experience designing and scaling distributed systems with strong system design fundamentals and performance optimization strategies
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), building and operating highly available services in cloud-native environments
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience implementing asynchronous messaging systems such as Google Pub/Sub or Kafka
• Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design, indexing strategies, and performance tuning
• Strong experience implementing automated testing strategies (unit, integration, BDD) and CI/CD pipelines aligned with DevOps or GitOps practices
• Working knowledge of Ruby, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), UML modeling, and experience scaling microservice-based cybersecurity or SaaS platforms

• 5-8 years of experience developing and supporting backend systems, APIs, or services.

• Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, preferably AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and similar services).
  
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation.

• Act as a Customer Security Advisor, conducting threat-hunting activities and performing security assessments on customer networks. Effectively communicate findings, recommendations for remediation, and mitigation strategies to customers
• Serve as an escalation point for the SOC analysts, assisting in the investigation, analysis, and response to security incidents
• Develop cyber kill-chain indicators of an attack and hunting heuristics to enhance the ongoing threat-hunting process

• Proven hands-on experience in the cybersecurity industry

• Strong knowledge of networking architecture and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, SMB, HTTP, IP Routing, etc.
• Comprehensive understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, common threats, and attack scenarios, such as malware infections, command and control (C&C) communication, drive-by attacks, phishing, and network scans
• Practical experience with security technologies, including firewalls (FW), intrusion prevention systems/intrusion detection systems (IPS/IDS), antivirus (AV), security information and event management (SIEM) systems, endpoint protection, and network forensics tools
