The Product Solutions Architecture (PSA) team acts as a technical multiplier across Datadog. PSAs are domain experts who partner with Field teams on complex customer use cases across pre- and post-sales engagements and scale their impact by producing reusable collateral, including reference architectures, technical guides, and enablement assets. What You’ll Do:

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of experience solving complex problems for customers and a strong knowledge of building applications, specifically using product analytics, feature flagging, or digital experience tooling.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with product analytics platforms and optimizing them for Enterprise level production usage (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, Contentsquare, FullStory, PostHog).
• Fluent in the digital experience and product analytics market domain, competition, technological shifts, and customer needs related to feature flag management, experimentation, and session replay.
• In-depth knowledge or experience with leveraging feature flag and experimentation tools (LaunchDarkly, Eppo, Split, Optimizely, etc.) and session replay platforms (FullStory, Contentsquare, Microsoft Clarity, etc.).
• Someone who can analyze Codebase and understands CI/CD, branch strategies and how that can influence Feature Flags.
• Experience with commonly used web and mobile languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Python, iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin, and file formats such as JSON and YAML.
• You are comfortable operating in rapidly evolving, ambiguous technical domains.
• You build deep context across teams and translate it into reusable, scalable solutions.
• You take ownership from problem definition through implementation and measurable outcomes.
• You are highly detail-oriented, particularly when working on architectures and customer-facing technical assets
• You bring strong listening and consultative skills and are experienced supporting customers in high-pressure, complex situations.
• Able to sit up to 4 hours, traveling to and from client sites.
• Able to travel via auto, train, or air up to 40% of the time.

Bonus Points:

• Successful track record with 5+ years experience working as a Growth Engineering 
• Experience using Datadog and/or other observability tools with Product Analytics, or Feature Flags.
• Have proven experience deploying observability or analytics instrumentation in production environments at scale.
• Background in experimentation program design, defining success metrics, guard rails, and statistical significance frameworks for A/B tests.
• Experience with privacy-by-design and data governance for session replay, including PII masking, consent management, and data residency requirements in regulated industries.

We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. What You’ll Do

• Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
• Collaborate closely with our Scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.
• Collaborate with others on the AI Team and Speechify Leadership to craft the AI Team’s dataset roadmap to power Speechify’s next-generation consumer and enterprise products.

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments
• Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (we use GCP)
• Experience with web crawlers, large-scale data processing workflows is a plus

• Proven experience in backend development: TS/Node (required)

This position is on the Customer Experience (CX) team — a full-stack group embedded at the core of Alarm.com's mobile and web apps. CX owns the moments that matter most to customers: getting them up and running on the platform, giving them the tools to manage their accounts, and finding ways to make the overall experience smarter and more intuitive over time.

As a Software Engineer II, you'll own features end-to-end. That means designing the server-side logic, shaping the API contract, and then following the work into the client surfaces where users experience it — Android, iOS, or web. You won't be handed a spec and told to execute — you'll be expected to have opinions about how things should be built and to defend them.

If you're coming in strong on the backend and looking to deepen your client-side skills on one platform, this role is built for exactly that trajectory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement server-side services and APIs that power features across Alarm.com's product ecosystem
• Own features completely: scoping, implementation, testing, deployment, and production verification
• Write clean, well-structured code that other engineers can read and maintain without explanation from you
• Design for the full problem — edge cases, failure modes, and error conditions, not just the happy path
• Contribute to client development on either Android, iOS, or web — you'll focus primarily on one platform, with exposure to others over time
• Participate in code reviews that meaningfully raise quality, not just catch style issues
• Collaborate across teams to define solutions that meet both business and technical needs
• Engage with the full development lifecycle, from early requirements through post-ship monitoring and support
• Bring your perspective to product decisions — we want engineers who think about what we're building, not just how
• Use AI tools where they genuinely improve your work — and share what's working with the team; we value engineers who are thoughtful adopters, not reflexive ones

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals: C# or Java experience is a plus
• Solid experience with SQL databases — schema design, query optimization, index strategy, and reading query execution plans
• Comfort with the full development lifecycle: writing tests, deploying safely, monitoring production health, and responding when things go wrong
• Curiosity about how the full stack works — genuine interest in following a feature from the server through to the client that delivers it

Staff Software Engineer

Most engineers optimize for the feature in front of them. Staff engineers optimize for the system that must keep delivering features two years from now — and they know the difference between a design that's clean on a whiteboard and one that holds up under real traffic, real teams, and real change.

We're scaling Alarm.com's customer experience platform through a significant architectural transition, and we need someone who has done this kind of work before — who knows how legacy systems accrue complexity, how to carve the right seams, and how to bring a team along for the journey without breaking what's already in production.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll define how the team builds — not just what it ships. That means setting the architectural patterns the team builds against, driving the decomposition of complex monolithic systems into maintainable services, and making sure the quality bar doesn't slip as the pace picks up. You'll also be a mentor and technical anchor: the engineer that others bring their hardest problems to, and trust to give them a straight answer.

This is a hands-on role. You'll still write code, lead design sessions, and stay close to production. The difference is that your decisions ripple outward — they shape how the whole team works.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define the architectural patterns and technical standards for the CX team - your decisions become the baseline that others build against
• Lead the decomposition of monolithic systems into well-scoped, independently deployable services, with a clear migration strategy that keeps production stable throughout
• Design systems that absorb change - architectures that remain sound as requirements evolve and scale increases, not just ones that work on day one
• Drive high-leverage technical decisions: data modeling, API contracts, service boundaries, event-driven patterns, and infrastructure choices
• Identify architectural drift and technical debt before they threaten delivery, and build the case for addressing them
• Set and maintain standards for testing, observability, and deployment across the team's systems
• Conduct code and design reviews that raise the team's technical floor - teaching through feedback, not just approving or rejecting
• Collaborate with engineering managers and product managers to sequence technical investment alongside product priorities
• Stay close to the work: write production code, prototype solutions, and maintain enough hands-on involvement to lead with credibility
• Model effective use of AI tools across the team - identifying where they provide real leverage and helping the team build good instincts for when and how to apply them

• Deep SQL expertise — schema design for scale, query optimization, index strategy, and understanding how database bottlenecks surface at the application level
• Proven ability to lead technical direction in a collaborative environment — you know how to build alignment on architectural decisions, not just make them

Role Description

As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, you will architect and maintain the digital workspace our employees rely on daily. This role oversees the entire lifecycle of corporate applications, from end-to-end deployment and configuration to automated patching and long-term administration. You will manage our Google Workspace environment and support critical office technology, including multi-vendor networking, conferencing, and advanced printing solutions. While possessing deep expertise in software application engineering, you will maintain a robust foundation in full device management to ensure secure and seamless delivery across macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS platforms.

In this role, you'll:

• Manage the enrollment, security posture, and compliance of macOS, Windows, and ChromeOS devices using Microsoft Intune, Google Workspace, and Kandji/Iru to provide a stable platform for application delivery.
• Architect the end-to-end deployment, configuration, and proactive patching strategies for the corporate productivity suite. This includes leading the rollout of new enterprise solutions from initial environment setup through to ongoing maintenance and optimization.
• Deploy and provide advanced support for office technology, including LAN/Wi-Fi networking, Google Meet conferencing/AV systems, and enterprise printing hardware and software.
• Perform administration, strategy, and security hardening for Google Workspace, including advanced mobile device management for Android/iOS and Google Meet integrations.
• Utilize advanced scripting (Python, PowerShell, or GAM) to automate software packaging, agent rollouts (e.g., CrowdStrike, CatchPoint), and system-wide compliance remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to understand business needs and implement scalable software and hardware solutions that streamline corporate operations.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in an Enterprise Corporate IT environment.
• 5 years of experience managing Google Workspace at an enterprise level, overseeing Application Lifecycle Management (packaging, deployment, patching), and supporting office networking (Wi-Fi, LAN).
• Experience managing macOS/Apple MDM tools (e.g., Kandji/Iru) and Microsoft Intune.
• Experience deploying applications on premise or software as a service (SaaS). 

It's preferred if you have:

• Professional Google Workspace, Apple, or Microsoft Endpoint related certifications.
• Experience configuring Okta or Entra ID for SAML federation, SSO, and automated user provisioning.
• Experience working with Python, PowerShell, and GCP Cloud CLI for advanced systems automation and API-driven integrations.
• Experience delivering complex technical projects within an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum).
• Ability to use written and verbal communication to explain complex architectural fixes and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $136,000 - $169,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.

Requirements

Certification: You must be a Licensed, Registered, or Certified Process Server if your state or county laws require it.
