The Product Owner (PO) for HOS & Compliance will be the primary functional lead for our development squads in Chennai. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of our Electronic Logging Device (ELD) and Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) features.
Following the global product strategy, you will translate FMCSA and CCMTA regulatory mandates into actionable technical requirements. You will own the team backlog, define the "Definition of Done," and ensure that every release maintains the highest level of regulatory integrity while providing a seamless experience for drivers and back-office administrators.
Backlog Ownership: Lead the grooming and work with Product Management on prioritization for your assigned squad, ensuring the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear.
User Story Development: Author detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria based on North American HOS rules (e.g., Cycle 1/2, Split Sleeper) and DVIR standars (§396.11).
Sprint Planning: Partner with Engineering Leads to plan sprints that balance new regulatory mandates, technical debt, and UI enhancements.
Functional Decision Making: Act as the primary point of contact for the engineering team to resolve functional queries and make real-time trade-off decisions.
Global Alignment: Collaborate closely with North American Product Managers to align local execution with the global product vision.
Feedback & Iteration: Analyze driver feedback and back-office support tickets to identify friction points in the HOS workflow.
Release Management: Partner with Product Marketing and Support teams to create internal documentation, release notes, and training materials.
Core Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst within a highly regulated SaaS environment (e.g., Telematics, FinTech, or HealthTech).
Technical Fluency: Ability to interpret API documentation and understand data structures (JSON/XML) used for regulatory reporting.
Agile Expertise: Proven track record of managing backlogs in Jira and leading Scrum ceremonies in a fast-paced environment.
Collaboration Skills: Ability to handle changing priorities, speak up with new ideas, and lead technical discussions with the technology team.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (e.g., BE/B.Tech, MCA).
Preferred Qualifications: * CSPO Certification (Certified Scrum Product Owner).
Experience with Android development/deployments or IoT/Hardware integration.
First 30 Days: Complete a deep-dive into the current ELD architecture and FMCSA/CCMTA compliance gaps.
First 60 Days: Successfully lead 2+ full sprints, delivering at least one high-priority compliance update.
First 90 Days: Drive delivery of the functional roadmap for the next quarter's compliance milestones.

This role combines experienced product management leadership with the pivotal responsibilities of a Group Product Lead, offering an opportunity to shape the product strategy and the missions of several teams. An excellent candidate will come with a wide range of experience in a product leadership role in the cloud infrastructure domain at a software-as-a-service firm. The product portfolio owned by this position will cover a wide range of cloud native infrastructure and services – from the highly available, resilient, scalable, and efficient infrastructure components on which all Appian Cloud services operate to the the scalable, enterprise-grade managed services that power the backend data persistence and event streams for customer sites in Appian Cloud. You will provide product management leadership for initiatives that deliver efficient and scalable infrastructure, core compute capacity, and managed data planes as multi-tenant services to accelerate the innovations of Engineering teams throughout the department. Your portfolio will include aspects that intersect with AWS account and VPC topology, Kubernetes clusters, network mesh, and edge web layer, as well as efforts to transform existing systems and software components into cloud-native, Kubernetes-based and multi-tenant managed services while achieving incremental value for our customers from intermediate milestones.
You'll form strong relationships with counterparts within the Engineering department as well as stakeholders in other departments. You will oversee the creation of an impactful vision and ensure alignment between the product managers in your group and the roadmaps of the feature teams that rely on the services and frameworks provided by your organization. You will be accountable for the business impact of the features your group delivers. This includes owning the product strategy and feature backlog and ensuring effectiveness and adherence to standard product management processes.

You will be the product manager working closely with the team whose mission is to strengthen and optimize site infrastructure by delivering essential upgrades, resource efficiency, and scalable solutions. You will be responsible for the direction and roadmap of a component of the Appian Cloud data plane that ensures reliable, high-performance operations for all Appian Cloud customer sites.
This role is specifically focused on the cloud-native persistence and messaging layer. You will oversee the backend sub-systems—including technologies like S3 and Redis—that power the platform's internal data plane and core services. This component of the software is not directly user-facing but has strong implications on the scalability and reliability requirements our customers expect.

The Global Alliances and Channels team at Appian is a fast-paced, dynamic organization that plays an integral role in driving Appian's growth globally. We are looking for a process-driven Partner Operations Specialist to provide critical support to the global partner ecosystem. In this role, you will ensure partner submitted deal registrations comply with program requirements and Service Level Agreements. You will help bridge the gap between partners, Alliance Managers, and Field Sales to ensure deal progression, while also analyzing data to identify efficiencies and improve the partner experience.
In this role, you will:
Own the deal registration lifecycle for global partners, including deal eligibility validation, status monitoring, and escalation to ensure timely approvals, accurate CRM attribution, and program compliance.
Act as the primary conduit between the partner deal submitters, the alliance team, and field sales representatives to facilitate communication, approvals, and conversion to Stage 2 qualification.
Optimize the partner experience by reviewing existing registration processes to identify bottlenecks, reduce errors, and drive operational efficiency.
Transform data into insights by generating and analyzing deal registration reports to identify emerging trends and partner performance gaps.
Provide ad-hoc operational support for global partner initiatives, such as new partner onboarding and long-tail enablement and support.
About You:
1-3+ years in channel operations, sales operations, deal desk, or similar B2B support roles.
Demonstrated experience navigating and maintaining CRM systems, with a strong proficiency in Salesforce.
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with global stakeholders.
A self-starter who can work independently while remaining deeply integrated within a global team across different time zones.
