What do we need
We are seeking a Scientific Technical Solutions Lead to join the team developing scientific Solutions built on Dotmatics LUMA, a next-generation, multi-tenant, AI-powered data management and workflow automation for multimodal scientific discovery. As a Scientific technical lead on the team, you will work closely with other Solution Architects, product management, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional product capabilities via Luma Solutions.
Your focus will be on designing and implementing the configuration necessary to realise product vision and on ensuring that this configuration follows best practices within the Life Sciences and Chemical & Material space.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll be the technical engine behind some of our most complex and consequential client engagements in Canada. You'll move fluidly between data exploration, model development, and executive communication — bringing scientific rigor to business problems and translating results into strategies that clients actually implement.
This isn't a role where you hand off findings and walk away. You'll be embedded with clients across Canada's most dynamic sectors — financial services, retail, CPG, telecoms, media, and the public sector — co-owning outcomes and ensuring that the models you build don't just perform in a test environment, they create real, lasting impact in production. We’re looking for applied scientists with a Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence background to build AI technologies and make Figma products more magical.. Pay Transparency Disclosure

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The expected base salary range for this position is $79,500 - $129,500.
