About the role
As a Senior Legal Program Manager, you’ll sit at the intersection of legal execution, operational excellence, and process design. You’ll partner closely with attorneys across a range of subject areas, lead key programs, drive complex cross-functional initiatives, and identify practical ways to use AI and automation to reduce manual work and increase the Legal team’s overall impact. This role is well suited for someone who's energized by both day-to-day execution and longer-term process improvement.
What you’ll be doing

You'll manage our patent and trademark portfolios, run the patent incentive program, and support product and regulatory efforts such as licensing, product compliance, exams, audits, due diligence, and the work required to support Mercury's application for a bank* charter.
A major part of this role is helping each legal subteam identify where AI can most meaningfully improve how work gets done. You'll evaluate existing manual processes, spot opportunities to introduce AI-driven solutions, and design smarter workflows that reduce repetitive work, increase the team's impact, and help us stay ahead of the curve.
