The Production Engineering organization at Pinterest is accountable for ensuring overall Pinterest availability as well as enhancing Engineering teams’ capability to design, build and operate robust systems at scale. What We’re Looking For:

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (specially EKS), including deploy patterns, rollout safety, and core debugging workflows
• 4+ years of experience with programming languages (Python or Golang preferred)
• Strong experience managing projects and initiatives end-to-end
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot or Claude for code generation, debugging, and documentation
• Demonstrated ability to write effective prompts to get high-quality, reliable outputs from LLMs

About the role:

As a Senior Software Engineer on Samsara’s Route Execution team, you’ll build the systems that power route planning, optimization, dispatch, and real-time tracking for fleets across logistics, field services, and delivery.

You’ll work across the stack, with an emphasis on distributed systems powering our dispatch state machine, to improve dispatcher tools, driver experiences, and scalable backend APIs that handle geospatial and real-time data at scale. You'll join the Dedicated team as a Site Reliability Engineer focused on Environment Automation, where your work will help power hundreds of isolated GitLab environments for our customers. In this role, you'll help keep these environments reliable, scalable, secure, and consistent by treating everything as code and contributing to automation across the entire lifecycle, from initial provisioning to day-to-day operations. The opportunity
We're looking for a talented Production Reliability Engineer to join our PRE Build and Deploy team based in Montreal, Canada. The ideal candidate understands the different requirements that are brought upon by continuous deployment and high-availability. In this position you work directly with development teams and partner organizations, owning and evolving the CI/CD platform that enables Unity's engineering organization to ship with confidence. The Role 

As the Engineering Manager for Site Experience, you will lead and manage a team of talented software engineers focused on developing and enhancing the core site performance and integrations of our platform from customers running Drupal, Wordpress, and Next.js. You are responsible for the team's performance, delivery, and growth within this functional area, defining and excelling on Engineering initiatives focused on outcomes.

• Collaboration: Contribute to team and organizational goals, working with immediate team members and cross-functional stakeholders (10-20 individuals) to ensure alignment.
• Direction: Provide clear direction to your team, translating high-level goals into actionable tasks, providing feedback, and ensuring everyone is aligned. You will have autonomy within your team's scope to decide how to allocate work and solve problems while aligning with the overall engineering strategy.
• Hiring: Own the hiring process for the team, including interviewing, closing candidates, and ensuring a diverse and high-performing team structure.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a solid foundation as an individual contributor demonstrating technical competence.
  • 1-3 years of direct people management experience, which could include leading small teams, mentoring juniors, or taking on tech lead responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects successfully, ideally working directly with customers or within an agency.
• Technical Acumen:
  • Direct experience building websites using Drupal, CMS, and/or Next.js, preferably with open source contributions.
  • Working knowledge of Python, Golang, or other modern programming languages.
  • A deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • A deep understanding of scalable cloud architectures and cloud technologies, including relational databases (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB, Cloud SQL) and application caches (e.g. Redis, Memcached).
• Communication: Clear, confident communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts effectively.
• Methodology: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other development methodologies.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

The US base salary range for this position in the United States is $174,240 - $217,800 USD per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Job Summary: 

We are seeking a Principal Network Software Engineer to architect and develop scalable and multi-tenant cloud-native networking solutions and security architectures. This role blends cloud networking expertise with software development. 

The ideal candidate has deep experience in cloud-native Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), Zero Trust Security, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) stack, along with hands-on cloud software development, data plane engineering, and cloud automation. The role will focus on building high-performance, multi-tenant cloud networking solutions for multiple deployment scenarios, integrating public and private clouds, cloud-managed networking devices, and SASE components. 

This is a hands‑on role: you’ll define the design, write and review code, and guide teams through delivering production systems. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Architect and develop multi-tenant cloud-native networking and security solutions in public, private cloud, and hybrid environments. 
• Optimize traffic steering, policy orchestration, and security enforcement. 
• Develop high-speed telemetry and analytics solutions for network visibility and threat detection.

• 5+ years of experience in Linux networking, including firewall configuration using netfilter, iptables, and nftables, as well as DNS filtering, traffic shaping, and QoS.
• 3+ years of experience with network security technologies including DNS filtering, Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS), Anti-Virus, and SSL Proxy.
• 2+ years of experience working with SASE components such as DLP, SWG, ZTNA, CASB, sandboxing, anti-malware, and anti-virus.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Linux userspace fast-path frameworks such as VPP and DPDK

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with fast path Linux Kernel fast path technologies like eBPF, XDP, and AF_XDP. 
• Proven experience with data-path Multitenancy like VXLAN, Linux Namespaces and VRFs. 
• Solid background in containerization and Kubernetes orchestration, including CNI selection, configuration, and troubleshooting.

The Opportunity:

We are the creators of Pyroscope, an open-source continuous profiling database that offers rapid, scalable, highly reliable, and efficient storage and querying capabilities. It aids in gaining a comprehensive insight into resource utilization within applications, right down to the specific line of code. The project seamlessly integrates with Grafana, enabling users to correlate profiling data with metrics, logs, and traces, and leverage profiles as a crucial component of application observability. Our dedicated backend development team works closely with clients and the Grafana Cloud teams to deliver profiling solutions for on-premises and cloud environments at scale.

The Session Replay squad is building a new Grafana Cloud product that helps our customers to understand what users actually experienced when something goes wrong.

Session Replay connects frontend signals (errors, performance, synthetic checks) to concrete session-level evidence, enabling faster and more confident investigation of production issues.
