As a Sr. Staff Cloud Engineer on the Devices Cloud team, you will own the technical direction of the cloud systems that power Life360's connected hardware — Tile trackers, Jiobit wearables, and emerging device categories. This is a systems-level leadership role: you are the recognized technical authority for our device cloud infrastructure, spanning real-time state management, high-frequency telemetry ingest, and the integration layer that connects physical hardware to family-facing experiences.
At this level, your work extends well beyond implementation. You set technical direction, define architectural standards, mentor Staff and Senior engineers, and partner with engineering and product leadership to align the technical roadmap with company goals. You operate across teams and functional groups — influencing firmware, mobile, platform, and data teams — and your decisions shape systems serving tens of millions of families daily.
You are also a leader in AI-native engineering. You don't just use AI — you define how it should be used. You architect agent-driven workflows, codify practices that multiply team output, and partner with engineering leadership to spread these patterns across the broader organization.
For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $216,500 to $318,500 USD. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range is 251,000 to $295,000 CAD. Note: We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. About the role:
Samsara is looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our Cloud Governance Platform team. This team builds the foundational platforms that enforce governance, identity security, compliance, and software supply-chain protections across all of Samsara’s cloud infrastructure and developer environments.
Rather than relying on manual reviews or policy enforcement, this team delivers secure, compliant-by-default systems through cloud IAM guardrails, automated controls, and scalable platform abstractions across AWS and GCP.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you’ll wear two hats: driving complex technical projects from conception to delivery while coding alongside the team, and providing people leadership to a small group of direct reports (3–5 engineers). We’re primarily an embedded linux team and as an intern, your responsibilities will include making firmware contributions, writing automated HIL/SIL tests, video platform data analytics and working on the end-to-end telematics platform. As a Vehicle Systems Engineering Intern your key area of responsibility will be to gain access to vehicles both in person and remotely across the world, to reverse engineer vehicular systems. This includes electrical, hardware and communications systems, protocols and legislation. In the past, students have developed software tools in C# and python, built big data dashboards using Google Big Query, reverse engineered vehicles from scratch using our in house CAN analysis software, helped diagnose vehicle issues… the list goes on! You will need to work closely with all development teams across Geotab and implement new initiatives across Big Data, Firmware, Software/ Mobile development and Hardware teams.
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to quickly understand complex, technical concepts. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and project management skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through completion. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.
This role offers an hourly pay range which is anticipated to be the range listed below. The actual pay for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to student's academic program, relevant experience, and location. The Role and Its Impact

What You Bring

just a feature.
• Market intelligence as a core skill. You’re a strong researcher and synthesizer. You
can take a messy landscape of customer conversations, competitive moves, usage data,

Senior Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer (Device Drivers)

You will be responsible for the Ethernovia’s Networking devices software stack development this may include Embedded Firmware, kernel/user mode device drivers, stack extensions, debug, and test utilities as well as automated unit/system testing. The drivers will integrate with the Communication Stack of a Linux and AUTOSAR Stack. The device drivers will allow the User application, Middleware and Operating system to take full advantage of the feature rich hardware. As for the firmware it configures, controls, and monitors the communication device and interacts with the host system via device drivers to expose hardware features of the devices. Firmware code may also run as a standalone library within the device driver itself

About the Role
EnCharge AI is looking for an Embedded SW Engineer to develop the firmware for our Edge AI processors. The candidate must possess an excellent understanding of computer architecture and operating system concepts including, but not limited to, memory management, virtualization and PCIe address space. The role includes designing and developing the core Firmware for various parts of the SOC. The candidate must possess strong communication skills to interface with Runtime, Architecture and H/W teams.
