ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Costa Mesa, California. You will work closely with the program leadership and a wide spectrum of cross-departments as part of a team focused on solving hard problems and changing the industry forever. In this role you will be responsible for designing and supporting the integration of various subsystems, supporting testing efforts, and ensuring overall system performance meets the required specifications and standards. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Full cycle PCB design including collecting requirements, schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, test, debug and system integration
• Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and basic software debugging tools
• Development of payloads and subsystems (sensors, payload interfaces, power management, and networking)
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses that connect electronic equipment within a subsystem
• Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products
• Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments and customer operated hardware
• Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews
• Design and support the integration & testing of an rotorcraft system through TRLs 3-8.
• Conduct vehicle platform system design & analysis as required by your supported program or effort
• Conduct design reviews, perform requirements analysis, and plan system verification to ensure compliance with project goals and industry standards
• Work within a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of product design, integration, and test effort

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs
• Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits.
• Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current-probes, and automation of tests.
• Familiarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB, etc.
• Familiarity with common MCU, CPU, FPGA devices and technologies.
• Familiarity with software development processes and tools such as git, Github, JIRA, etc
• Comfortable with a variety of electronic CAD tools (Altium preferred, Eagle and others acceptable)
• Experience in design for signal integrity / power integrity
• Experience with battery systems and ability to support alternate battery systems design
• Experience with high reliability systems
• Experience with radio frequency-based systems
• Experience with rapid payload/sensor integration
• Experience in designing and integrating high power electronics
• Experience in fieldable system design
• Comfortable in conducting worst case circuit or uncertainty analysis

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Battlespace Awareness (BA) team develops state-of-the-art radar systems, deployed to tackle the most significant security challenges of America and its allies. Working across hardware, software, and firmware; in both the RF and digital domains; the team delivers radar architectures that enable advanced surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting in the contemporary and future battlespace. The Radar team is responsible for all aspects of radar system development; from concepts and architectures through to fielding and sustainment. In this role, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary technical team to define radar architectures, design solutions, build prototypes, perform testing, and mature the prototypes into products.
 

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Senior FPGA Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be the technical lead for FPGA development supporting our airborne radar products, establishing the foundation for FPGA design processes and best practices. You will be responsible for translating algorithmic requirements into FPGA implementations, leading signal processing design efforts, and collaborating with our Fort Collins team to ensure seamless integration across projects. This will require expertise in FPGA design, signal processing, RTL development (SystemVerilog/VHDL), and Xilinx toolchains. If you are a self-directed technical leader who thrives on establishing new capabilities and can take an algorithm document and independently drive it through to hardware implementation, then this role is for you.
 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead FPGA architecture, design, and verification efforts for airborne radar systems from concept through production
• Translate signal processing algorithms into efficient, high-performance FPGA implementations on Xilinx SOC/FPGA platforms
• Establish and drive robust FPGA design processes, coding standards, and verification methodologies for the airborne products team
• Collaborate with the Battlespace Awareness engineering team to ensure design consistency and knowledge transfer across sites
• Design and implement digital signal processing chains for radar systems, including data acquisition, filtering, and real-time processing
• Perform timing analysis, resource optimization, and debugging of complex FPGA designs
• Develop and maintain design documentation, including architecture specifications, design reviews, and verification plans

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of professional experience in FPGA design and development
• Strong expertise in RTL design using SystemVerilog and/or VHDL
• Demonstrated experience with Xilinx FPGA devices and development tools (Vivado, Quartus, etc.)
• Proven experience in digital signal processing implementation on FPGAs
• Self-directed technical leadership with ability to independently drive projects from requirements to implementation
• Experience with FPGA verification methodologies and simulation tools
• Strong understanding of timing closure, resource optimization, and FPGA design constraints

This role is responsible for defining scalable, high-fidelity validation frameworks that enable full system integration testing across multiple programs—bridging software, autonomy, and flight hardware. 

This position spans the full lifecycle of HIL development, from early requirements shaping and simulation architecture through hardware/software integration, automated test development, system validation, and transition to flight test. We are looking for a Staff Quantum Control Hardware Engineer to join our Networking, Sensing, and Security division. As a Staff Engineer, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the world’s best quantum computers and networked systems to solve the world’s most complex problems.  

In this role, you will design the critical physical layer interface for next-generation quantum networking nodes and high-precision sensing devices. You will build the low-noise, high-precision mixed-signal hardware necessary to control optical sources and read single-photon detectors with the fidelity required for secure quantum communication and entanglement distribution. The Surgery & Robotics Hardware Team is looking for Electrical Engineers who want to advance the future of healthcare solutions with technology. At Neuralink we recognize that increasing healthcare costs, lack of access, and insufficient numbers of neurosurgeons globally require new approaches to enable greater access to our devices. To address these challenges we design fully autonomous robotics systems, human assistive surgical tools, and design entire surgical suites in order to provide better experiences for our customers.

Our team works on our surgical robot system which aims to fully automate the implantation of the Neuralink implant. We design and integrate multi-axis robotic arms, perception systems including custom imaging hardware, optical coherence tomography tissue imaging, power electronics, and safety systems such as 3D spatial mapping/object avoidance sensors. Robotics is part of a larger system of tools we work on. For example, using pre-op MRI scans we generate patient anatomy data that we later use in surgery to register precise surgery site locations. 

In addition to research and development of modern surgical technology, we also are responsible for bringing these technologies to market. We perform full lifecycle testing for all devices we design and ultimately manufacture them for use in human surgeries. As an Electrical Engineer in the Manufacturing organization you will design and build complex systems and PCBA platforms to test our products. ABOUT THE JOB

As an Senior Electrical Engineer in the Manufacturing organization you will design and build complex systems and PCBA platforms to test our products. Data acquisition and physical layer interfaces using FPGA, MCU, and off-the-shelf equipment will enable testing our systems to stringent standards ensuring that we are consistently shipping the highest quality products to our customers. You will work in a multi-disciplinary design team, managing requirements, capturing custom circuits, and designing complex assemblies and harnesses. You will work with firmware engineers to enable board support packages for embedded Linux, and bring up MCU RTOS platforms. In this role you’ll need to think creatively and come up with solutions to solve difficult testing problems and push to continuously improve our methods of automation, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril’s Electronic Warfare (EW) team is seeking experienced generalist embedded software engineers to build out the software ecosystem supporting a next-generation electronic warfare platform. As an Embedded software engineer, you’ll develop high-performance implementations of numerical algorithms, collaborate with digital systems engineers to enable maximum-performance interfaces between next-gen RF hardware and software, work with DSP and RFML engineers to rapidly deploy bleeding-edge capabilities to our customers, and collaborate with the wider software organization to deliver seamless integration of electronic warfare products with the Anduril Lattice system-of-systems suite.
