About You

You have experience in both public and private accounting and you can comfortably work collaboratively in teams and independently. You are a self-motivated individual who has a thirst to develop new processes while improving existing ones. As an accountant at AppDirect you are someone who is able to roll up their sleeves for a hands-on experience with an elite team to develop and build a first-class accounting function. To be successful in this role, you must have strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting processes, controls and systems.

The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule: you will work one day per week onsite and four days remote. What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

• Assist in monthly close process and ensure compliance with monthly close calendar. Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Prepare accruals, and perform prepaid analysis

• Perform bank reconciliations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial reporting to provide financial insights and guidance to other teams to help inform decision-making.

• Assist in the preparation of U.S. GAAP financial statements.

• Assist with external financial audits and other due diligence requests.

• Support accounting team’s commitment to timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions in accordance with US GAAP and the Company’s internal controls. Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies and help strengthen the internal control environment.

• Perform other special projects and analyses as directed by management.

• Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Direct experience supporting accounting function of US/Europe based international company whether in public accounting or with an international company (1+ years total) strongly desired.

• Experience establishing and optimizing reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written, oral, listening and presentational skills and ability to work well under pressure and interact at all levels are also required.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision.

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Consolidations Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will form part of our Accounting HUB team, our offshore accounting team that will support our global accounting and finance function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, maintaining compliance with all relevant accounting standards.

This person will be responsible for recording and reconciling intercompany transactions, various reconciliations, fixed asset management and assisting with month-end close activities. You will work closely with the global finance team (predominantly UK based, as well as US, Argentina and Singapore), ensuring compliance with accounting standards, streamlining financial operations, and supporting automation initiatives. This person should be comfortable and confident in a high growth company where structure, procedures, and policy are in development, familiar with a fast pace, and is able to prioritize in building a scalable, efficient accounting and reporting function.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Intercompany Accounting: Record intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and matching/eliminations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Reconciliations: Payroll, Fixed asset and other general ledger reconciliations.
• Collaborate on Process Standardization efforts: Work with accounting leadership to  implement best practices for intercompany transactions and financial workflows.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with finance, tax, compliance and legal teams to optimise intercompany arrangements and compliance.
• Month-End, Quarter-end and Year-End Close: Ensure timely and accurate intercompany reporting as part of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee core accounting operations in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment. This role will manage financial reporting, the month-end close process, internal controls, and compliance while leading and developing a high-performing accounting team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Financial Reporting & Close

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

The role:

As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll support end-to-end payroll processing across the US, Canada, and LATAM—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. You’ll work closely with HR, Finance, and Tech to improve systems, automate workflows, and scale processes using tools like macros, scripts, and AI. You’ll also track payroll KPIs, manage documentation and reporting, and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Support and contribute end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries (US, Canada, LATAM), ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Liaise with managers to ensure timely review and approval of hourly employee time sheets.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Tech to support ongoing improvements to our HRIS and payroll systems
• Contribute to maintaining compliance with international payroll, tax, and labor requirements.
• Drive documentation, reporting, and process ownership for recurring and ad hoc payroll needs.
• Participate on the design and implementation of automated workflows, including Excel/Google Sheets macros and custom scripts to improve payroll operations, reduce errors, and speed up delivery.
• Build scalable, auditable custom processes using AI tools to fill gaps where off-the-shelf software falls short—ensuring alignment with company growth
• Build and track performance KPIs such as error rates, processing times, and response SLAs to monitor and improve payroll operations.
• In performing the above, exercise the highest degree of confidentiality related to all sensitive payroll information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accountant, or another related field.
• 3+ years of previous experience in Payroll processing. Deep understanding of payroll regulations, taxes, and labor law across at least 2 of the following: US, Canada, LATAM.
• Advanced user of Google Sheets/Excel.
• Experience of process improvement and automation, ideally with no-code tools or HRIS customization.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, HR, and Tech teams.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
• Excellent level of English is required.

Preferred requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of automation tools such as macros and scripting languages (e.g., AI, Google Apps Script) is a strong plus.

What you'll do:

Own complex deal execution (Deal Desk + commercial strategy)

• Be the point person for non-standard deal structuring (pricing, discounting, bundles, ramps, multi-year, special terms).
• Run a crisp approvals process: you’ll know what needs escalation, what doesn’t, and how to get to decisions fast.
• Partner with Finance and Legal on tradeoffs (risk, margin, payment terms, contract language) while keeping Sales moving.
• Drive quote quality: ensure clean Salesforce opportunity data and (if applicable) CPQ discipline—so bookings, billing, and reporting don’t break later.
• Handle client escalations from a commercial lens (pricing disputes, urgent approvals, renewal friction), coordinating internally and helping the team land the best path forward.

Strengthen forecasting and pipeline rigor

• Partner with regional Sales leadership on weekly forecast cadence: clean pipeline inspection, stage integrity, close date rigor, next steps, risk flags.
• Build lightweight frameworks that make forecasting more predictable (e.g., definitions of commit/best case, exit criteria by stage, “deal health” signals).
• Translate forecast signals into actions: what we need to do this week to protect the quarter.

Territory mapping, coverage, and sales planning

• Support territory design and ongoing adjustments based on opportunity, capacity, and performance, not just “how we’ve always done it.”
• Partner on rules of engagement, account assignment logic, and coverage gaps (especially where regions overlap).
• Help Sales leadership with planning inputs: capacity assumptions, coverage models, segmentation, and operational readiness for plan changes.

New logo TAM, ICP fit, and whitespace analysis

• Build and maintain a view of the new logo TAM and whitespace by region/segment using internal data + enrichment sources.
• Help answer: Where should reps spend time? Which accounts fit our ICP? What’s the realistic market potential we can cover this year?
  (TAM is the “maximum potential” in a target market; used well, it tightens planning and prioritization.)

Make the machine better (not just run it)

• Improve playbooks, templates, approval routing, and reporting.
• Surface recurring friction points (pricing, packaging, contract terms, discounting behavior) and propose fixes with measurable outcomes.

What you have:

• 5+ years in RevOps / Sales Ops / Deal Desk / Commercial Ops / Pricing Ops in a B2B environment (SaaS preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce (opportunity hygiene, products, quoting, reporting; CPQ experience is a plus).
• Comfort with ambiguity + senior stakeholder communication—you can say “no” with context, offer alternatives, and keep trust.
• Strong analytical chops: you’re fluent in spreadsheets; bonus if you’ve used SQL and/or BI tools.

Bonus Points:

• Experience supporting multi-region sales teams and navigating time zone coverage and handoffs.
• Familiarity with quote-to-cash handoffs (billing, collections, revenue recognition considerations—not as an accountant, but as a commercial operator).
