About You
You have experience in both public and private accounting and you can comfortably work collaboratively in teams and independently. You are a self-motivated individual who has a thirst to develop new processes while improving existing ones. As an accountant at AppDirect you are someone who is able to roll up their sleeves for a hands-on experience with an elite team to develop and build a first-class accounting function. To be successful in this role, you must have strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting processes, controls and systems.
The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule: you will work one day per week onsite and four days remote. Compensation includes 15 paid working days (PTO) plus local holidays, comprehensive medical coverage (OSDE Plan 310) for you and your dependents, reimbursement for eligible wellness activities, English lessons, global and local events participation, and much more!
What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact
Assist in monthly close process and ensure compliance with monthly close calendar. Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Prepare accruals, and perform prepaid analysis
Perform bank reconciliations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial reporting to provide financial insights and guidance to other teams to help inform decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of U.S. GAAP financial statements.
Assist with external financial audits and other due diligence requests.
Support accounting team’s commitment to timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions in accordance with US GAAP and the Company’s internal controls. Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies and help strengthen the internal control environment.
Perform other special projects and analyses as directed by management.
Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Direct experience supporting accounting function of US/Europe based international company whether in public accounting or with an international company (1+ years total) strongly desired.
Experience establishing and optimizing reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written, oral, listening and presentational skills and ability to work well under pressure and interact at all levels are also required.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision.
NetSuite ERP system experience a plus. Advanced knowledge of Excel

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Consolidations Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will form part of our Accounting HUB team, our offshore accounting team that will support our global accounting and finance function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, maintaining compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
This person will be responsible for recording and reconciling intercompany transactions, various reconciliations, fixed asset management and assisting with month-end close activities. You will work closely with the global finance team (predominantly UK based, as well as US, Argentina and Singapore), ensuring compliance with accounting standards, streamlining financial operations, and supporting automation initiatives. This person should be comfortable and confident in a high growth company where structure, procedures, and policy are in development, familiar with a fast pace, and is able to prioritize in building a scalable, efficient accounting and reporting function.
