The Key Account Director - Escrow Real Estate and M&A will be responsible for growing Ebury’s escrow client base across the UK with a focus on the Real Estate and M&A. The key focus will be on commercializing our escrow capabilities by partnering with various ecosystem players including law firms, real estate brokers, investment bank origination teams, and financial advisers.  

Responsibilities

• Outbound sales to new partnership opportunities and prospective partners to build a robust network of "Gatekeepers," including law firms, M&A attorneys, investment bankers, and real estate developers.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners 
• Manage end-to-end sales process of new clients referred to by partners
• Deliver agreed sales and revenue targets 
• Analyze complex deal structures to recommend tailored escrow and paying agency solutions
• Work closely with the onboarding, legal, and midoffice teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new deals.

The Area Service Manager manages the maintenance and upkeep of their assigned portfolio, including buildings, grounds, and building systems. The Area Service Manager ensures efficient and smooth workflow. Working collaboratively with the Community Manager, the Area Service Manager will set goals and objectives, coordinate their staff, producing progress reports and presentation.  

This role will oversee the Maintenance function for a portfolio of properties located in Tuscaloosa, Boaz, and Albertville.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Collaborates with the Community Managers to implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs. 

• Coordinates compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and guidelines, MSDS, OSHA, EPA regulations, fire codes and other relevant rules and regulations.  

• Coordinates with approved contractors and vendors.  

• Along with Service Managers, conducts regular inspections of all Building Systems including fire extinguishers, sprinkler, and alarm systems. 

• Works closely with Regional Manager and Community Manager in creating, scheduling capital budgets. 

• Coordinates with Regional Manager annual maintenance programs for apartments and common areas. 

• Coordinates with Service Managers for necessary repairs and maintenance in apartments and common areas including refurbishment for move-ins.  

• Along with Service Manager, ensures the grounds of the property are maintained including landscaping and snow removal. Coordinates the removal of garbage and trash for the property. 

• Coordinates Staffing schedules with Service Manager to ensure the proper maintenance of office public spaces, residential apartments, and grounds.  

• Responsible for all REAC Inspections. 

• Maintains inventory control for all general supplies' parts and equipment. 

• Maintains all required maintenance files. 

• Schedules and conducts training sessions and department meetings. 

• Informs Regional Manager and Community Manager of any resident issues or concerns.  

• Understands and implements the role of the department’s safety and disaster plan.  

• Participates in safety committee meetings. 

• Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.  

• Along with the Service Managers, ensures that all company uniform and grooming standards for the department are followed. 

• Along with the Service Manager’s, strives to maintain a safe working environment through the preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices. 

• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers. 

• Adheres to all policies and procedures of the Fairstead Management. 

• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

To perform the job successfully, the following skills and/or experience is required to qualify for the position. 

• 5 to 7 years of related experience in property management dealing with rent stabilization and affordable housing properties. 

• Great Organization and Project management skills.

We are looking for individuals who have detailed functional knowledge and understanding of home inspections, and experience leading residential construction rehab projects to join us as a Project Manager in our Construction.  You will have expertise in identifying and executing repairs necessary to bring the home to meet company standards, and creating a safe and enjoyable habitat for prospective tenants. Your remit is to ensure the completion of property inspections, preparation of repair bids to Company standards using approved pricing, and lead all aspects of the rehab process including selection and oversight of approved vendors/contractors, timeline management of the repair project, and quality assurance.

This position operates in the field at our properties in the Birmingham, Alabama metro area.

The Role:   This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Timely review of inspection reports (confirm property meets agreed standards, review recommendations on remediation and upgrades).  May also need to perform inspections from time to time.  
• Develop budgets based on the inspection of identified items to bring the property to standards within Company approved pricing
• Make recommendations on engaging and terminating vendors and contractors to use on each project or job
• Effectively and efficiently schedule and manage all construction activities, and maintain productive ongoing relationships
• Review vendor workmanship to ensure all items on the statement of work are complete, and mark contracts complete. Ensure vendors and contractors are held accountable for quality, completeness, and timely work
• Property condition management - perform specific repair and/or securing work such as rekeying of properties; daily monitoring, updating and reporting through the property management system to keep current on status and next steps for all assigned property
• Develop scope and cost and obtain approvals for additional work not identified on initial bid
• Document the rehab process including "before" and "after" photos
• Quality control review and punch list process for all home renovation projects
• Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications and Experience

• HS Diploma required with College Degree preferred
• 3-5 years of residential construction/inspection experience with vocational/technical school a plus
• Demonstrated ability to create and manage budgets and to negotiate contracts
• Deep knowledge of local and national building/property management codes
• Excellent leadership and management skills with a focus on customer service
• Ability to effectively manage and execute on multiple activities in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and reading skills
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for both self and others to consistently meet goals and deadlines while maintaining quality
• Computer Skills including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Must have a current and valid driver's license
