Day to Day

• Lead a team responsible for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing preliminary and final site plans and construction documents.
• Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions and factors to consider for development including but not limited to legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
• Prepare reports, opinions, and recommendations for the direction of the project; hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer’s opinion of probable costs, project schedules, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm sewer reports, local and state permit applications, storm water reports, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, StormCAD reports, WaterCAD reports, and preliminary/final detailed grading.
• Provide construction-related services and direct junior team members to complete items such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals; organize site plans, construction plans, construction sheet set-up and assembly and other related construction documents.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages to complete assignments on time and within prescribed standards and budgets.

Join us as an Associate Project Manager and play a key role in coordinating and delivering land development projects from concept through construction. You’ll help manage schedules, budgets, permitting efforts, and client communication while also contributing to technical design work. Project Management and Coordination

• Help guide projects through all phases, from entitlement to construction.
• Assist with scoping, fee development, scheduling, and overall project planning.

• Contribute to proposal development and business development research to help strengthen client relationships.

Permitting and Entitlements

• Stay organized and proactive with submittals, revisions, and permit tracking.

Technical Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to support site layout, grading plans, utility design, and other land development components.
• Assist in the design of potable water and wastewater systems, surface water management systems, roadway layouts, and stormwater infrastructure.
• Partner with senior engineers to ensure high quality, accurate, and efficient technical deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited university
• PE required
• Strong Civil 3D design experience
• Familiarity with HydroCAD, WaterCAD, StormCAD, and SewerCAD preferred

Transaction Manager Responsibilities: 

• Act as a trusted client advocate by representing clients in negotiations with vendors, dealerships, and service providers to obtain the best price. 

• Serve as a subject matter expert on financing and leasing strategies, advising clients on loan structures, lease options, interest rate considerations, and cash flow impact and debt. 

• Conduct market research on pricing trends, vendor offerings, and industry benchmarks to secure competitive terms.
