Medical Science Liaison
Legend Biotech is a global biotechnology company dedicated to treating, and one day curing, life-threatening diseases. Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.
Legend Biotech is seeking Medical Science Liaison as part of the Medical Affairs team based in Southeast Territory (LA, AL, MS, GA).
Role Overview
As part of the US Medical Affairs team, the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be responsible for engaging identified key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare professionals (HCPs) from institutions and organizations within the assigned geographical territory through high level scientific support for research activities, publications, education, consulting, and other Medical Affairs initiatives. The MSL will provide credible, compliant, fair-balanced and ethical scientific exchange with members of the healthcare community, consistent with the direction and focus as defined by the Legend Biotech Medical Affairs team. Direct education for healthcare professionals treating oncology patients on clinical data, adverse event management, and mechanism of action for commercial and pipeline assets.
The MSL is required to live within assigned field-based territory or within a 30 minute commute from the nearest territory border focusing on both community and academic sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify KOLs within the assigned territory and establish and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs in both academic and community institutions.
- Execute activities at the assigned territory level in full alignment with Medical Affairs strategies and tactics.
- Assist in the oversight of Legend Biotech sponsored clinical trial sites to include, but not limited to, site identification, patient accrual discussions, site initiation or feasibility and to serve and the primary field-based point of contact between investigators and members of the Legend Biotech Medical Affairs and Clinical Development teams; Addressing AE management and education as needed.
- Collaboration with cross-functional partners including those part of strategic alliances;
- Assistance with implementation and engagement of key opinion leader participation in advisory boards, consultant meetings, and other scientific meetings.
- Collect and communicate clinical insights and intelligence on the market environment, clinical strategies, competition, and other developments relevant to Legend Biotech's success.
- Represent and support Legend Biotech at Hematology/Oncology scientific meetings including congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and investigator meetings. Interpret and report findings with recommendations for action to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary local point of contact for investigators and their research staff who may participate in company sponsored and investigator initiated clinical trials.
- Demonstration of excellent oral presentation and communication skills through provision of clinical presentations and information delivery to academic and community healthcare providers in both group and one-on-one settings.
- Relay important medical insights to key Legend Biotech stakeholders as gathered from field interactions and congress/meeting attendance.
- Assistance in the development of field-based MSL resources and training materials and other projects as needed.
- Maintain focus and composure in uncertain circumstances with minimal directions.
- Demonstrate high organizational and interpersonal skills and sound judgment in all functions.
- Maintain in-depth scientific and therapeutic knowledge, including Legend Biotech and competitive products as well as disease states within the franchise.
- Fully understand and apply MSL SOP's/guidelines and company HCC/Regulatory/Legal guidelines.
Requirements
- Advanced terminal degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO) OR other advanced medical degree (NP, PA, etc.) w/ 2+ years relevant therapeutic area clinical experience is required.
- 2-3 years relevant work exp (clinical, fellowship, or research experience) and/or related PhRMA work experience is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to partner and maintain relationships within the medical community.
- Knowledge or experience in the Hematology/Oncology and/or Immunology is highly preferred.
- A valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record are required.
- Ability to drive to or fly to various meetings/congresses/headquarters.
- Travel on the Job: 60%.
- Overnight travel, including some weekend commitments.
- Comfort with utilization of computer, company applications, and remote technology.
- The MSL is self-motivated, with strategic thinking and strong geographical management skills.

This role does not include on-call duties but offers the scope for some long-days and ad-hoc weekend working. We are looking for candidates interested in locum positions until Oct 2026.
What will your responsibilities be?
The all-day procedure list includes 30-minute sessions for injections and 60-minute sessions for radiofrequency treatments, covering procedures such as radiofrequency ablation, cervical epidurals, genicular nerve blocks, hip joint injections, sacroiliac joint injections, therapeutic thoracic epidural injections, facet joint nerve blocks, and trigger point injections. Outpatient clinics involve both new and follow-up patients, focusing on assessment and treatment planning, with discharge when appropriate. Post-procedure follow-ups may be conducted either virtually or face-to-face, depending on clinical needs.
Pain procedures accommodate up to 16–20 patients per full day depending on the type of procedure, with each injection allocated 30 minutes (1 slot) and each radiofrequency treatment 60 minutes (2 slots). Outpatient clinics manage between 16–24 patients per full day based on case mix, with 30 minutes scheduled for new appointments, 20 minutes for follow-ups, and additional time allocated for administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Psychologist, your role will be dynamic and impactful. You will:
- Deliver specialist psychological assessments and interventions

- Provide expert consultation and guidance to the multidisciplinary team
- Lead reflective practice sessions and contribute to service development
- Undertake risk assessments and support psychological aspects of risk management
- Champion the SAFE model (Shared Assessment, Formulation and Education) across services

Qualifications and Experience

- Support ongoing estate plan maintenance by monitoring life events, asset changes, and planning updates.
- Collaborate with Wealth Advisors to integrate estate planning with broader financial planning strategies.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Legal Studies or a related field;
- 5-10 years of experience in estate planning, financial planning, trust administration, or wealth management.
- Working knowledge of estate tax laws across five or more states.
- Experience working in or with an RIA, law firm, trust company, or financial advisory firm.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while collaborating with senior team members.

Financial Consultant - Employee Benefits
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values

- Financial Strategy
- Leads complex technical work and strategic financial consulting regarding employee benefit plans
- Communicates technical analysis to clients regarding cost projections, savings opportunities, and proper risk management
- Drives local process improvements and supports innovation
- Marketing/RFPs
- Prepares and manages RFP for all self-funded TPA and stop loss submissions to market with Client Executive direction
- Collects, manages, and reviews proposals on self-funded TPA and stop loss marketing events
- Updates marketing results into spreadsheet ensuring accuracy to be used internally and in client presentation
- Renewals
- Initiates review of fully insured medical, and self-funded TPA and stop loss renewals, including plans, cost, contributions and contract terms
- Leads recommendations to client regarding renewal analysis
- Utilizes actuarial models to assess changes to risk and plan structure
- Partnership & Negotiation
- Negotiates with carriers based on client’s targeted goals
- Maintains ongoing relationships with carrier and vendor partners
- Underwriting & Analysis
- Provides analysis for benchmarking, contribution, disruption, network, stop loss deductible and GeoAccess analysis
- Provides and communicates underwriting cost projections for self-funded medical/Rx, dental, and vision products.
- Develops and communicates self-funded IBNP analysis to client
- Assesses proper risk and funding structures such as fully insured vs. self-funded analysis, and presents findings to client to align with client goals
- Reporting
- With minimal guidance, analyzes data for inconsistencies and trends
- Provides a written and oral summary of findings to Client Executive, and directs strategic considerations for managing cost
- Builds and customizes reports to fit client needs
- Presentation
- Prepares client presentations and presents in front of client with as part of team with Client Executive, Client Manager, and various subject matter experts.
- Training & Mentorship
- Provides mentorship to analysts and performs technical review of work
- Serves as a subject matter expert for specific financial strategy functions, and leads local process improvements
- Serves as experienced peer reviewer, ensuring standards of practice and work quality standards are met
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:
- 6+ years of similar or related experience
- Prefer college graduate, 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with MS Office Suites
- Attains Life and Health license & maintains through continuing education requirements
- Limited travel required (less than 25%)
- Understands concepts of underwriting and actuarial computations
- Analyzes and interprets data
- Effectively manages multiple projects while meeting timelines
- Ability to be firm and persuasive when needed, while maintaining good relationships
- Handles confidential information with tact and discretion
