Manager, Frontline Marketing

This is a key role of the newly established Asia Repertoire team, focusing marketing and promotion of SME’s frontline Taiwan/Hongkong artists/music to mainland Chinese audience.
The Frontline Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns for TWN and HKG’s RO teams for their frontline artists and new releases in Mainland Chinese audience.
This role focuses on driving awareness, engagement, and revenue through innovative marketing strategies across digital, social, and traditional channels.
What you'll do:
Campaign Strategy & Planning
- Develop marketing strategies for new releases, ensuring alignment with artist positioning and business objectives.
- Create integrated campaigns across digital, social, and offline platforms.
Execution & Coordination
- Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with TWN & HKG’s RO teams (A&R, digital, sales) and external partners (DSPs, media agencies).
Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Drive artist visibility through social media, influencer partnerships, and paid advertising.
- Optimize content for engagement and conversion across platforms.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
Fan Engagement & Community Building
- Develop fan engagement strategies, including contests, live events, and exclusive content.
- Support artist branding and long-term fan loyalty.
Budget Management
- Manage marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI.
- Design the workflow for pushing Asia Repertoire’s frontline releases across dsp and social platforms
- Pushing our Asia Repertoire’s artists to more media outlets of mainland China, including TV shows/award ceremonies/fashion events, etc. working with both traditional and alternative media partners for our artists in album cycle.
- Work with various social platforms to generate maximum exposure for our frontline artists and releases.
- Work with catalog team to create joint campaigns that benefit both frontline and catalog content.
- Work with product team to create best physical release strategy.
- Any other responsibilities or works to be assigned by the superior or the Company.
Who you are:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant working experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in music and entertaining business with similar marketing and promotional role for artists.
- Very familiar with Chinese media scene.
- Excellent social media skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a proactive work attitude.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken)

As an Account Manager in our Account Services team, you will be responsible for retaining and growing our key accounts via strategic partnerships, underpinned by successful campaigns and best in class service. You will also act as a mentor to junior members of the Account Services team to ensure the department is always developing and fostering the next generation of Account Managers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITITES
Your main responsibilities will include:
Client Management
- Develop client-specific strategy alongside stakeholders from Sales, Trading, DnA, and Marketing teams.
- Confidently pivot focus and priorities based on new information whilst steering towards the end goal.
- Protect and grow MiQ’s key accounts via upsell/cross-sell.
- Actively listen to stakeholders and clients to understand their needs, and identify opportunities and solutions that cater to those needs.
- Flex to the needs of each client without compromising MiQ in the process and resolve any issues swiftly and without fallout.
- Maintain regular communication with all accounts including scheduling, hosting, and supporting on face-to-face meetings, entertainment & business reviews.
- Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends and the impact of these on MiQ and our clients.
Campaign Management
- Media Plan:
QA of pre-campaign documents.
- Develop a detailed media plan based on Sales input, outlining budget allocation and campaign strategy.
- Project management build of creative assets & other campaign setup requirements.
- Manage creative tag trafficking
- Campaign activation:
- Request and deliver screengrabs.
- Ensure client reporting is setup.
- Monitor pacing and performance of campaigns.
- Requests for campaign upweights where appropriate.
End of campaign:
- Manage and deliver post-campaign reporting and insights.
- Manage re-booking of BAU activity.
Administrative Support
- CRM (Salesforce) - IO management & understanding of Sales pipeline.
- Reconciliation of bookings where appropriate.
- Support with investigation and resolution of invoice queries.
Technical Support
- Implementation and troubleshooting tracking pixels.
- Knowledge of Tag Management Systems (GTM, Tealium).
- Troubleshooting campaign issues with the support of the Tech team
Product & Industry knowledge
- Understanding of MiQ’s product suite including requirements for activation & USPs vs competitors.
- Research into industry trends and the impact of these on MiQ, our clients as well as the wider digital landscape.
Insight delivery
- Proactively connect multiple data points to deliver insight driven recommendations for clients during and post campaign.
- Recognise patterns and points of differentiation to deliver robust and actionable insights.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The role encompasses ability to set-up and successfully execute Search campaigns across multiple MiQ regions, including North America, LATAM, EMEA, MENAT and APAC. As such, you would be involved in and supporting the growth of Chinese brands across the whole world. You will also play an active role in shaping the development & growth of this newly established MiQ SEM/SEO offering world-wide.
JOB RESPONSIBILITITES
Your main responsibilities will include:
Campaign Set-up & Execution
- Develop, execute, and optimize comprehensive SEO/ SEM strategies that align with the business and brand’s goals, ensuring improved website rankings and higher visibility in organic search results
- Manage and implement on-page, off-page and technical SEO
- Conduct detailed keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities and inform content strategies, ensure content copy optimization, and achieve competitive positioning.
- Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance success (or issues – with action plan), covering key metrics and KPIs, such as website traffic, rankings, click-through rates, conversions, and return on ad spend (ROAS), complete with data and insights presentation and actionable plans
- Thorough and issue-free floodlight tracking & other set-up carried out in CM360
- End to end campaign ownership and performance monitoring – including & especially campaign set-up & optimisation
- Use insights to build client rapport to up-sell and earn incremental opportunity
Portfolio Management
- Deliver on-target margin whilst retaining & growing client spends
- Balance portfolio growth objectives with margin/profitability objectives across a variety of campaign types
- Grow campaign portfolio revenue via surpassing client KPIs, supporting custom insights and building client relationships
- Use data, analysis, and optimisation expertise to deliver campaign ahead of pace and maintain performance
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the AM team in China and DnA team in Bangalore on custom insights planning & production
- Work with various Central and local (China) departments to aid in any of the following:
o Campaign Process – uphold and follow China International processes
o Pre-campaign qualification support – including support on Media Plans
o Best-practices – adhere to and uphold campaign activation best practices
o Troubleshooting – work on own initiative to identify and resolve campaign issues
External Communication
- Attend/participate/lead in external meetings - deliver insight pieces and answering client questions as part of Q&A
- Ownership of weekly reporting for clients – including direct collaboration including face-to-face. Emphasis on delivering value for clients via focus on actionable insights
- Being able to clearly & accurately relay the role & interplay between various digital channels (i.e. the role of Search vs Display vs Social, etc)
- Oversee the health of our digital assets and collaborate with developers to identify and fix any technical issues and ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
Innovation
- Subject-matter expert internally and externally with regards to SEO/SEM set-up, performance & overall contribution to campaign funnel/user journey/campaign performance
- Manage lead generation and email marketing campaigns, which include optimize landing pages to drive conversions and improve the user experience.
- Regularly use campaigns to test and implement innovative ideas – driving more scale or superior results (or both)
- Maintain and evolve MiQ trading/operational processes and best practices
- Motivated by learning opportunities and is inquisitive
- Own & deliver improvement recommendations on SEM/SEO offering with a view to growing client spend & satisfaction over time
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of experience with hands-on set-up & optimisation across SA360, Google Ads & Bing Ads platforms
- Proven track record of delivering results at scale for PPC activity
- In-depth understanding of set-up (CM360, SA360, Bing Ads & Google Ads) and optimisation (SA360, Google Ads, Bing Ads)
- Experience with SA360, Bing Ads is a must.
- Good understanding of tracking set-up process, options & troubleshooting via CM360 & GA4
- Good understanding of the programmatic & wider digital ecosystem in NA, EMEA and APAC – with a focus on the roles of Search & Display in that
- Experience working in client-facing environment would be an advantage
- Experience with Mobile Performance campaigns is a bonus
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proven relevant qualifications and minimum 3 years of experience in similar SEO/SEM role with a strong track record of managing PPC budgets, improving rankings and driving paid search campaigns
- Proficient with hands-on implementation experience with SEO/ SEM consoles and third-party tools, such as GA4, Google Ads
- Strong understanding of digital and performance marketing, programmatic advertising and display networks, and relevant data analytics
- Fluent English & Mandarin are essential. Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mentality
- Skilled in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for SEO purposes would be a bonus
- Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms and best practices in web and mobile SEO
- Strong troubleshooting ability, clear systematic approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work both independently and contribute within a team environment
