What you'll do:

• Identify, engage and run process on potential M&A, investment opportunities and JV partnerships that enable SME China to expand its presence in the broader music ecosystem.
• Understand and stay current on broad market and industry trends, the competitive landscape, and internal product development efforts to evaluate business opportunities; analyze financial and non-financial data to draw conclusions and make recommendations to SME China Leadership team.
• Prepare financial models for new signings, acquisitions, and business ventures as required.
• Present and pitch corporate development opportunities to the leadership team and other key regional stakeholders.
• Build investment consensus amongst cross-functional teams, influence decision-making within senior leaders, and help drive management team decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners, investors, industry experts within China including visibility across the local start-up ecosystem.

Who you are:

• 6–8 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, consulting, private equity or strategic finance.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of China’s entertainment, digital, tech or consumer landscape.
• Experience leading M&A, JV or investment processes end-to-end.
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
• Expert negotiation skills.
• Ability to build, communicate and execute new business opportunities.
• Ability to analyze financials, research data and trends in order to uncover insights and opportunities to inform decision making.

What you'll do:

• Identify developing and established artists for RCA Greater China review and signing, using existing network or resources.
• Identify developing and established label partners for RCA Greater China cooperation, using existing network or resources.
• Work closely with MD to manage the short and long term goals of the label.
• Production Management: Overseeing A&R team to monitor production process and artist engagements
• Responsible A&R daily management including tracking and coordinating the progress and timeline of production projects with the team, integrates the relevant admin works, regularly updates the Release Schedule of RCA label, deliver various reports, updates, and other relevant presentation materials on behalf of the team.
• Maintaining A&R workflow – track versions, files, archives, and other assets for the team, help the team to cooperate and communicate between artists, producers, teams, suppliers, etc.
• Budget tracking and management of procurement, Purchase Order, and invoicing processes
• Update weekly tracker of new signing, production, and release schedules.
• Liaising, “brainstorming” and meeting with internal teams to discuss A&R’s strategy.
• Work with Marketing and Artist Management teams to oversee the recording process of RCA’s artists.
• Demonstrate a good ear for music that will help the artist(s) success and be able to identify the singles that will be hits and provide creative feedback.
• Attend shows and showcases of both signed and unsigned artists on a regular basis.
• Manage the administrative and deal making process for prospective clients.
• Work closely with Finance and BLA to formulate deal prospects.
• Work with MD to set out company priorities and release timelines.
• Look for creative opportunities to gain exposure for our artists and labels.
• Provide A&R direction and support on assigned projects.
• Work closely with other label departments/employees including Copyright, Royalty, Artist Management, Marketing & Promotion, Data Analytics, Commercial & Sales, Creative Services, etc.
• Provide some Artist Management support.

Who you are:

• Undergraduate degree required.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in the music industry.
• Strong relationships with artists, songwriters, producers, companies/industry resources are required.
• Expertise in songwriting and production is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in the music industry, with strong understanding of recording, production, creative, legal, copyright, music publishing, and general knowledge of digital marketing, social media, content, streaming landscape, and key industry players.
• Open-minded; avid music fan across all genres. Strong desire to make a difference and contribute to successful outcomes.
• A proactive self-starter. A collaborative team player, able to form good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to handle confidential matters appropriately and with discretion. Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to travel and attend showcases as required.
• Great verbal and written communications skills combined with interpersonal skills working across multiple cultures.
• Passion for music, digital media and innovation is a (big) plus.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.

What you'll do:

Campaign Strategy & Planning 

• Develop marketing strategies for new releases, ensuring alignment with artist positioning and business objectives. 
• Create integrated campaigns across digital, social, and offline platforms. 

Execution & Coordination 

• Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables. 
• Coordinate with TWN & HKG’s RO teams (A&R, digital, sales) and external partners (DSPs, media agencies). 

Digital & Social Media Marketing

Data Analysis & Reporting 

• Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools.

Fan Engagement & Community Building 

• Develop fan engagement strategies, including contests, live events, and exclusive content. 
• Support artist branding and long-term fan loyalty. 

Budget Management

• Design the workflow for pushing Asia Repertoire’s frontline releases across dsp and social platforms 
• Pushing our Asia Repertoire’s artists to more media outlets of mainland China, including TV shows/award ceremonies/fashion events, etc. working with both traditional and alternative media partners for our artists in album cycle.  
• Work with various social platforms to generate maximum exposure for our frontline artists and releases.  
• Work with catalog team to create joint campaigns that benefit both frontline and catalog content. 
• Work with product team to create best physical release strategy.
