About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Life Underwriting Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of our underwriting staff. This role involves creating engaging learning materials, conducting training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain engaging training materials, including job aids, e-learning modules, workshops, knowledge assessments and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Conduct instructor-led training sessions, workshops, and online training programs for underwriting staff.
- Evaluate training program efficiency through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to underwriting staff to ensure continuous improvement in underwriting practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, changes in regulations, advancements in underwriting technology, and new learning/development methodologies.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and management to identify training needs and develop targeted training solutions.
- Support change management initiatives related to underwriting processes, systems, and methodologies.
- Foster an environment of psychological safety.
Qualifications & skills:
- 5+ years of experience in life underwriting or training.
- Proficient knowledge of life underwriting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in creating training materials using various software and tools.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Certifications in training and development are a plus.

What You Will Do and Learn
We are seeking a Solution Consultant to join our growing Legal Operations practice, with a specialization in Ironclad Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM). This role blends technical expertise and client engagement to deliver high-impact CLM solutions. You will develop and implement Ironclad solutions and train other bandmates.
Ideal candidates will be able to:
Solution Development & Delivery
- Build and customize contract templates on Ironclad platform.
- Design and configure, workflows, approval rules and dashboards.
- Assist in functional workshops to gather requirements for contract types, templates, clauses, workflows, and reporting.
- Conduct Fit/Gap analysis and guide future-state process design.
- Manage requirements traceability and ensure alignment throughout the SDLC.
- Work on contract data migration, functional testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop training materials and lead “train-the-trainer” sessions for client enablement.
- Track and resolve functional and technical issues during implementation.
Practice Development & Enablement
- Lead enablement initiatives for the Legal Ops team, including Ironclad training, internal knowledge sharing and capability development.
- Stay current with Ironclad’s evolving features and industry trends in CLM and legal tech.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience implementing CLM solutions, with a strong emphasis on Ironclad.
- Strong experience with pre-sales and solutioning
- Strong experience in leading discovery workshops and architecting solutions
- Ironclad Certification (Ironclad Bootcamp, Ironclad Workflow Design, Ironclad Admin, Ironclad Workflow Owner, Ironclad Consultant Implementation Service) is must.
- Hands-on expertise with Ironclad’s configuration, workflow automation, Smart Import, Smart Contract capabilities, and API integrations.
- Strong understanding of contract structures, legal clauses, and business terms.
- Experience in business rules, custom calculations, and data integration across CLM platforms.
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
