Responsibilities 

• Assist with the organisation, upkeep, and creation of internal technical documentation relating to areas such as data centres, internet networks, cloud and on-premises compute/virtualisation platforms, and project management. 

• Organize existing documentation – Discover, review and organize existing documentation. Edit and streamline, identify gaps, lead efforts to ensure accuracy and consistency of documentation across the division. 

• Collaborate with key stakeholders, global cross-functional teams , and internal business users to define, support, guide, and maintain documentation standards and requirements. 

• Translate complex systems into clear, accessible “how-to” guides for a wide range of technical audiences. 

• Provide proactive guidance and support to engineers by writing or assisting with writing internal technical documents, standard operating procedures and other software, systems or network related documentation. 

• Draw and maintain technical diagrams to support operational documentation. 

• Review and maintain various document and presentation templates. 

Skills and Knowledge 

• BS/BA in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred. 

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a Technical Documentation or related role, in addition to an IT, network, software development or related field. 

• Strong general technical skills. 

• Experienced with using Atlassian Confluence and Jira. 

• Comfortable with using, interpreting, and documenting terminal commands in Unix-like operating systems, software code in code repositories like GitHub and GitLab, and network infrastructure configuration. 

• Strong knowledge and technical understanding of internet networks, data centres, cloud and on-premises infrastructure, and other related areas. 

• Experience in designing visual assets such as workflow charts, diagrams, banners, images and presentations. 

• Meticulous, with a sharp eye for consistency, grammatical errors and ambiguities. 

• High competency with written and spoken English. 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills – facilitate collaborative and instructional sessions, provide strong clear guidance and support. 

• Curious, eager to learn, and not afraid to ask questions.

As a Customer Success Architect, you’ll be a strategic advisor to some of GitLab’s most important Federal Government customers, helping them connect our DevSecOps platform to their business goals and realise meaningful, long-term outcomes. You’ll partner closely with customers after the sale to turn pre-sales command plans into concrete success plans, guide them along the customer journey, and drive hands-on enablement, adoption, utilisation, and maturity. Reporting into the APJ  Customer Success organisation, you’ll own a book of customers, act as their primary GitLab liaison for questions and escalations, and coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Professional Services, and Support so customers can navigate complex technical and organisational challenges with confidence.

You’ll use your understanding of Git, software development lifecycles, and continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps practices to help customers adopt best practices and stay current with new GitLab capabilities. What you’ll do

• Partner with customers to translate pre-sales command plans and desired business outcomes into actionable objectives and clear success criteria.

We are part of GitLab’s Customer Success organisation. What you’ll do

• Guide technical discovery, demos, and validation (including proofs of value) to show how GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customers’ technical and business needs across the full lifecycle, advancing qualified opportunities and increasing proof-of-value progression to successful evaluation outcomes.

As a Senior Recruiter at GitLab, you'll support hiring across our APAC Sales teams, including Direct Sales, Solution Architecture, and other teams across the Sales organization. An overview of this role

As a Staff Engineer on GitLab's Software Composition Analysis team, you'll drive hands-on implementation of security features that help customers understand and manage risks in their software supply chain. Your focus will be on enhancing GitLab's SCA capabilities in dependency scanning and container scanning. You'll work directly on architecture and technical implementation and help the team push forward on three core goals: Gather (introducing data points that help customers understand the urgency of issues, like reachability analysis and supply chain poisoning detection), Integrate (providing other teams with innovative collection techniques for better workflows), and Optimize (solving data correlation at massive scale). You'll contribute hands-on code, help solve novel technical challenges, and establish patterns that improve how the distributed team works together across multiple time zones.

About the team

The Software Composition Analysis team is part of GitLab's Sec Engineering group, and we focus on building capabilities that help customers identify and manage risks in their software supply chain. We work across areas including dependency scanning, container scanning, and license scanning, and we work closely with product, UX, security, and adjacent engineering teams to close important feature gaps in GitLab's platform. Our team members are distributed across regions including Europe and North America, so we rely on clear documentation, asynchronous communication, and thoughtful coordination across time zones. What you’ll do
