ABOUT SPACE SYSTEMS AT ROCKET LAB:
Rocket Lab’s Space Systems team is responsible for every satellite and satellite component made by Rocket Lab: from complete satellites destined for missions to the Moon and Mars, to the individual components and subsystems that make up a satellite like solar panels, flight software, reaction wheels and star trackers, separation systems, radios, and more. Our Space Systems team is made up of engineers, technicians, and designers who design, create, and put together our own satellites for missions across the commercial, government, and defense sectors, or who build and assemble satellite hardware and software that supports other satellite missions.
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:
The Spacecraft Operations Intern Engineer at Rocket Lab in Auckland, New Zealand, supports the Spacecraft Operations team by integrating AI tools and enhancing ground software with AI features to improve spacecraft operations. This internship offers hands-on experience across the entire spacecraft operations ecosystem, including missions ranging from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) science and service constellations to interplanetary missions. The intern will help maintain the health and safety of Rocket Lab’s growing fleet, ensuring mission objectives and service level agreements are met.
Responsibilities include supporting diverse missions—such as LEO on-orbit manufacturing, deep space missions, and constellation management—across all phases, from commissioning and orbit raising to routine operations and re-entry. The role involves close collaboration with teams in spacecraft design, assembly, integration and testing (AIT), flight software, propulsion, guidance, navigation and control (GNC), flight dynamics, and ground software development. Rocket Lab’s vertically integrated approach provides interns with exposure to a wide range of technical products and responsibilities, making this a unique opportunity to develop both spacecraft operations and software AI skills.

Who we are:
We're Dexibit. We love dinosaurs and data. Our Kiwi AI product helps visitor attractions (museums to zoos to theme parks) make sense of their data and make better decisions. We work with big international names alongside local favourites like MOTAT and Weta. We’ve been widely recognised in industry and picked up a few awards along the way from HiTech, NZIBA, TIN and more.
Dexibit recently joined accesso, a global technology company serving over 1,000 venues across 30+ countries. That means our platform, our reach, and the complexity of the problems we get to solve just got a lot bigger.
What we build :
Dexibit brings together our deep domain knowledge, AI-ready data platform, served through an agentic interface. We create value for our customers by addressing non-trivial tasks like strategic modelling, scheduling, operational reporting and analysing visitor feedback.
Under the hood, the AI layer orchestrates real business logic and APIs: integration packs, custom datasets and benchmarks, context control features, and our query and visualisation infrastructure.
The agentic interface is where we're investing new feature development. Think streaming, context window management, tool orchestration, sandboxed execution. There's real depth here, and real problems to solve.
Where you fit :
We're looking for a product-minded software engineer who can shape what we build and how we build it. You'll be in the code every day. But we value engineers who lead naturally: through design decisions, technical direction, mentorship, and bringing the team along.
You're full-stack, but you lean heavily to one side, whether that's backend data systems or frontend product engineering. With the depth of our problems (and the leverage that frontier LLMs now give us), we believe strong engineers need real depth on one side while being capable and willing to contribute across the stack.
What you bring :
You break complex problems into simple, elegant solutions. You're a great communicator with strong customer empathy. You're quick to understand the why behind the work.
You're a proven engineer (5+ years) with experience across different systems and domains. You've shipped impactful work and can talk honestly about the failures as well as the wins.
You bring curiosity and humility. You mentor naturally. You're not afraid to give constructive feedback, and you genuinely enjoy learning from others' perspectives.
Our tech stack :
Details :
Even if you can't tick every box, we still encourage you to apply. Dexibit recognises all our team as diverse and unique individuals.

Apply to PushpayMost mobile roles are about shipping features for a single app.
This one is about building and improving the platform those experiences run on.
We support 3,000+ white-label mobile apps across Apple and Google’s app stores, and we’re continuing to evolve how those apps are built, released, and maintained. That means solving mobile engineering problems that go well beyond day-to-day feature work — from performance and reliability to architecture, release quality, and platform consistency.
If you enjoy creating polished mobile experiences, solving meaningful technical challenges, and contributing to the systems that make high-quality delivery possible, this role gives you the space to do exactly that.
You’ll work on technical challenges that require both engineering depth and product thinking, building mobile experiences that directly affect how people engage with their communities.
Develop and enhance modern mobile app experiences across iOS and Android, contributing new features, usability improvements, and high-quality user interactions.
Help improve the foundations that support thousands of apps — including architecture, maintainability, performance, release confidence, and platform consistency.
Design and deliver robust, production-ready mobile software that performs well in the real world and creates measurable value for users and the business.
Contribute to technical discussions, code quality, testing practices, and continuous improvement across the mobile engineering environment.
Mobile engineers care about how apps are built, released, and maintained — not just what gets shipped. We believe great software comes from thoughtful engineers working together, not rigid processes. Engineers here are trusted to contribute ideas, improve systems, and help shape how we build. Here’s a snapshot of the environment you’ll be working in.
You’re an engineer who enjoys building mobile products that last, improving app quality over time, and creating experiences people genuinely enjoy using.
You’ll join a team working on mobile engineering at real scale.
This role sits in an environment where platform thinking matters — where the work is not just about shipping the next feature, but about improving how thousands of apps are built, released, and experienced by real users.
If you enjoy solving meaningful mobile engineering problems, care about quality and user experience, and want to help shape a platform that supports products people genuinely rely on, this is the role for you.

Apply to PushpayWho we are:

Quality without drama
Ownership that grows with you
You’ve moved beyond tutorials and junior guidance.

We’re hiring an Intermediate Software Engineer who can take meaningful pieces of product, build them well, and ship them confidently in a collaborative, high-trust environment.

This is a “build things that matter” role.
You’ll be responsible for delivering business value by designing and developing high-quality software in a highly collaborative environment. You’ll report to a Senior member of the Engineering team, and be trusted to self-manage your day-to-day work.
You will sit in that critical middle layer of engineering — capable, accountable, and growing into senior-level thinking.
You’ll spend your time building, improving, and collaborating.
Design & Development
You won’t just implement requirements — you’ll shape solutions.
Quality & Ownership
You’ll take initiative. If something needs fixing, you fix it — or you raise it.

We’re undertaking a significant frontend evolution — modernising legacy systems, migrating to a modern React and Typescript ecosystem, expanding our shared design system, and building a centralised frontend portal that multiple engineering teams will plug into.
If you enjoy solving structural problems, setting engineering standards, and building systems that make other developers faster, this role gives you the space to do exactly that.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll design and deliver high-quality software while helping raise the quality, clarity, and velocity of the engineers around you.
You’ll work closely with Product, Design, QA, and other engineering teams to build scalable, user-focused software and contribute to the evolution of our frontend platform.

Help build a centralised frontend portal from the ground up and establish integration patterns that allow domain teams to plug in seamlessly.
