Position Summary

The Product Manager leads efforts across its own craft and serves as ambassadors for their craft across the organization and to our partners and clients. The product manager looks for opportunities to push our business forward through maximizing revenue, identifying new technologies, and leading the research/training/adoption of new technology partners. Within the Addressable team there are multiple crafts: Tech, Operations, Hubbing, Strategy, Commerce and emerging media where the product managers stand as expert and point of contact for clients and colleagues.

The Product manager has a combined role: focus on quality of their craft in the team and be a strategy lead on one of the top tiers Kinesso clients. This role requires a profound understanding of contemporary programmatic ad tech, deep experience with optimization to a variety of branding & DR KPIs, and the ability to share that expertise both internally to direct reports and externally to client and agency partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy lead on one of the top tier addressable advertisers.
• Expert and first point of contact for his/here craft.
• Ability to prioritize and identify any opportunities to upsell emerging channels like CTV, Audio, Native, Social extension, DOOH, BVOD etc.
• Look at the whole picture of the marketing strategy and analyze programmatic roles in media mix.
• Key support person presents at any direct client meeting or agency presentation.
• Ability to assess priority and delegate to team members effectively.
• Building frameworks for client growth through Addressable strategies.
• Build team framework for educational workshops/innovation sessions to clients and agency
• Understand client objectives and challenges including external factors that may impact the client business.
• Investigate and help the team to solve problems and clearly communicate results/solutions.
• Become an expert in the use and best practices for multiple Demand Side Platforms, offering insights on how to improve campaign effectiveness through deep use of each platforms functionality, although in-console campaign management may not be a part of this role.
• Strong management skills that helps to motivate people, give constructive feedback and coach them with their career progression.
• Ability to forecast and foresee gaps in resource or need for new hires in future and managing accordingly.
• Clear understanding of each person's workload and responsibility within his team - with agility to re-distribute accounts when needed and / or provide extra support to team members by creating a flexible working environment.
• Liaise with the agency and clients at a senior level for any serious matters, foreseen issues, problem solving. Be able to devise and implement problem-solving strategies and solutions that will benefit both the agency and their clients
• Work with agency counterparts to drive better integrations and more streamlined working process.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ideally comfortable in a consultative, client-facing environment
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on data
• Fundamental knowledge of ad targeting methodologies and ad-technology in general
• Experience in digital media account management with stakeholders such as large clients, online advertising agency, network, advertising exchange or optimization firm
• Capable of building consensus among stakeholders and their constituents at all levels
• Good understanding of ad networks, ad exchanges, DSPs and/or auction marketplaces
• Experience with analyzing large data sets and delivering actionable insights
• MS Office fluency, including Excel pivot tables & chart making. Experience with MS Access, VBA/Excel Macros is a strong plus.
• Ability to investigate, analyze & solve problems, and clearly communicate results

Training Location 

All Graduates will complete an initial 3-month training period in London. Upon completion of training, candidates will be relocate to our Amsterdam office to join Options Market Making trading desks.

About the role: 

IMC is seeking an Associate to join the Middle Office team. In this role, you will identify, investigate and reconcile trade, position and cash exceptions, working directly with trading desks, clearing firms, exchanges and brokers. You’ll have the unique opportunity to work side-by-side with Traders while building a high-level understanding of the business through daily, cross-functional relationships. As part of a collaborative team of smart, technically strong individuals, you’ll continue to develop your skills and broaden your knowledge of financial markets as the business grows and evolves.

Your Core Responsibilities: 

• Identify, investigate, and reconcile trade, position, and cash breaks
• Own the daily P&L substantiation, reconciliation and daily management reporting
• Reconcile trading fees with exchanges and clearing brokers
• Process invoices and manage any discrepancies directly with brokers/exchanges
• Ensure all current Middle Office operations processes and procedures are the most efficient and effective via continuous review
• Collaborate with our Back Office/Business Intelligence IT teams on specifications and improvements to Middle Office applications and tools
• Provide operational support to a wide range of trading desks
• Perform ad hoc portfolio analysis and project work as needed
• Arrange cash transfers to meet funding requirements
• Work with the Finance team on month end accounting

Your Skills and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics and Accounting is preferred
• 5 years of working experience in a similar role at an Investment Bank, Pension/Hedge Fund, Asset Management
• Accounting/Finance experience is highly desirable
• Experience with derivative products is highly desirable
• Experience with Power and Energy commodities or FX is beneficial
• Strong Excel skills (VBA Macro experience preferred)
• Basic Python (coding) skills and SQL skills are preferred
• Experience with trade settlement with clearing firms, or processing invoices is desirable
