The role
Nebius is looking for candidates to strengthen its datacenter facilities engineering team. You will work,
individually and in collaboration, with internal business partners (technical teams, especially technical
project managers and different vendors), to deliver planning and design, and to oversee the
construction and implementation of the electrical engineering aspects of our data centers.
This role requires a flexible, pro-active mindset with attention for details and good communication
skills, and a willingness to travel.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan, validate and verify the roll out of reliant electrical systems
- Work with our internal and external business partners
- Create designs which meet and exceed Nebius’s quality benchmarks on time and within budget
- Seek new designs and amalgamate new technologies within Nebius AI’s data center planning and infrastructure
We expect you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in creating electrical design documentation for construction
- 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical design
- In-depth understanding of electrical equipment such as: power distribution, busway systems, electrical switchgear, UPS, and diesel generators
- Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and systems related to data centers
- Good communication skills, fluent in English
- A flexible, pro-active mindset with attention for details

Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan and implement cost-effective and reliant mechanical designs and distribution systems
- Work with internal business partners like Technical Project Management, Data Center IT, IT Procurement, Network Engineering, and with external vendors to validate and test installation & operation performance of data center mechanical systems
- Create designs which meet and exceed Nebius’s quality benchmarks within our budget capacity
- Seek new designs and amalgamate new technologies within Nebius AI’s data center planning and infrastructure
- Identify and document list of electrical equipment and components required during the build/installation phase
- Work on multiple projects in different locations, and visit the construction sites to oversee the work of external vendors and contractors
We expect you to have:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in building services engineering or mechanical engineering, or 10+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in mission critical facilities environment including but not limited to: data centers, power generation and oil/gas facilities
- 7+ years of experience in creating mechanical design documentation for construction
- 7+ years of experience in commercial and/or Industrial Mechanical design
- In-depth knowledge of data centre design, BMS & HVAC design and related product development
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of data centre mechanical systems, chillers air-cooled & water-cooled, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, CRAHs/CRAC, fans, air economizers, water treatment etc.
- Good understanding of electrical equipment and system designs related to data centers
- Good data analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for server and racks hardware
- Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and specifications using CAD tools

ABOUT THE JOB
You’ll own the technical development of large aircraft from white paper sketches and conceptual design through detailed design, build, flight test, transition to production, and sustainment. This includes vehicle layout and conceptual design, airframe and propulsion system design and integration, guidance section development, payload and datalink integration, fabrication and flight test. These projects will be diverse in nature and require you to leverage your technical expertise as well as leadership skills to set objectives, build a team, and drive to completion. The ability to leverage your intuition and prior experience in programmatic level decision will play a key component in making sure the right design/analysis/ and test steps are being completed to ensure success without simply completing steps for the sake of the process that don’t add value. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience executing and successfully completing prior highly optimized multi-disciplinary projects.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work closely with the customer to develop or evolve a large autonomous air vehicle. This will require close coordination with Anduril Growth, Export compliance, technical departments, US and Foreign Suppliers and US and Foreign government subject matter experts and senior leaders.
- The intent is to have a strong technical chief engineer who can become engaged in the design process, gain a deep understanding of the aircraft, and leveraging understanding of export regulations, identify technical development roadmaps including: scope, cost and schedule required to prototype, test, and manufacture exportable air vehicle.
- Lead technical and programmatic execution of new and existing air vehicle systems design, fabrication, test, productization and sustainment.
- Own the technical and programmatic success of your programs, establish technical and programmatic vision assemble teams of internal and external subject matter experts, and communicate that vision to them.
- Candidate will begin with a high level of individual contributor work to initiate a program. Success will result in potential production capability. This will require building a technical and programmatic team around business opportunities.
- Set up trades to enable the exploration of early conceptual designs while working closely with technical SME’s and Business Development teams to find the right solution to current and future gaps in the sovereign capability to ensure the warfighter has the best solution for current and future conflicts.
- Manage the detailed design of the system and subsystems including requirements development, sub-system trades and optimization, risk management etc. to ensure the appropriate consideration of design key performance parameters, schedule, costs and risks.
- Coordinate the fabrication of prototype and low-rate production articles and subsystem/system level test efforts.
- Develop budgetary estimates and schedules working with functional engineering teams
- Work with suppliers and vendors to incorporate relevant capabilities onto the air vehicle.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering Degree from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of technical engineering experience in a professional environment
- Deep understanding of unmanned aircraft at and above Group 3 class
- Experience with aircraft system design, prototype and test
- Experience in a senior role leading air vehicle programs from initial concept through test and delivery to customers
- Experience driving strategic direction in competitive landscapes, solving complex system optimization challenges under tight constraints.
- Proven ability to deliver functional capabilities while aligning technical objectives with programmatic outcomes.
- Demonstrated collaboration and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the “why” behind Vehicle and Systems design.
- Experience with sovereign military design standards and airworthiness processes
- Experience integrating foreign vendor engineering and manufacturing teams, as well as subsystems and other products
- Must be able to obtain and hold a Dutch government security clearance

As an Electrical Lead Engineer you must prove yourself to some of the most demanding customers in the world! You will design, build and operate power supplies from 5 volts DC to 150 kV substations and all distribution, storage, redundancy and uninterruptible power supplies thereby apply.
In addition, you ensure maximum security of a data centre by working on the most effective and inventive installations related to fire protection, intrusion protection and access control! Our Operations team is always working in a live Data Centre, Risk management, execute assessments, Testing and Commissioning protocols belong to your daily work.
Main responsibilities
- Manage and deliver the electrical work packages in multiple projects
- Identify the scope, design and management objectives and deliver project documentation, ensuring the quality and flow of information required for contractors, vendors and regulatory authorities
- Write technical specifications and reports
- Assist the management in the preparation / review of project costs, risk assessments
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships ensuring continuous technical professional development
- Review contractor pre-qualifications and prepare tender evaluation summaries for tender reviews. Evaluate proposals and recommendations to the client regarding vendor selection
- Write technical specifications for tender
- Represent the Ownership on factory acceptance tests and site testing & commissioning activities
- Communicate status of projects to internal directors and external stakeholders (clients) on an ad-hoc and formal basis.
- Monitor the maintenance program of the electrical assets and coordinate these activities with all the other disciplines (Mechanical, FM)
- Respond to incidents and instruct the FM teams on how to react in different scenarios
- Coordinate the writing and approval of all procedures for normal and emergency operations
- Drive new initiatives to improve efficiency in the workflows and in the day to day activities
- Assist HSE in creating safety programs for electrical works
- In the functions of the site SAP write the Electrical Site rules in compliance with the local legislation and coordinate with HSE and the other teams on methods to enforce them.
- As site SAP you will be granted the authority over the electrical installation as prescribed by law.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- At least 8 - 10 years relevant working experience in electrical design and / or installation
- Good knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction industry
- Good knowledge of standard practices in commissioning and testing of electrical equipment
- Good understanding of the daily (operational) business of critical environments

How you’ll demonstrate Ownership
The Enterprise Field Engineering team leads the technical relationship as a customer scales beyond initial implementations and deployments into broader expansion and full enterprise-wide adoption.
