• Establish and operate a multi-site security model, including oversight of SCIF environments in Huntsville and governance of a secondary SCIF location in Northern Virginia 

• Deputize and manage a cleared team member to support day-to-day operations at the Northern Virginia site 

• Lead preparation for and response to DCSA inspections, audits, and security reviews, ensuring continuous audit readiness 

• Own personnel security processes including clearance sponsorship, onboarding, indoctrination, debriefing, and continuous evaluation 

• Ensure proper execution of DD254 requirements, visit authorizations, access controls, and classified material handling procedures 

• Serve as the senior advisor on insider threat program execution and reporting

What You Need: 

• Demonstrated experience leading industrial security or cleared security programs within federal, defense, or intelligence environments 

• Deep knowledge of NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and classified information handling procedures 

• Experience managing SCIF environments and multi-site security operations 

• Strong understanding of personnel security systems and processes (e.g., DISS, NBIS) 

• Proven experience leading DCSA audits, inspections, and compliance reviews

The Incident Response and Threat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity incidents, fraud, and digital threats impacting the organization and its affiliates. This role integrates incident response, threat intelligence, digital risk protection, and fraud analysis to proactively identify risks, disrupt malicious activity, and strengthen organizational defenses through actionable intelligence, investigations, and well-documented processes.

Responsibilities 

• Support security and fraud incident response activities in coordination with the virtual Security Operations Center (vSOC) and internal stakeholders, including identification, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis.
• Enhance digital risk protection, threat intelligence, and social media monitoring programs, delivering timely and actionable intelligence to support operational response and threat modeling.
• Conduct highly confidential digital and fraud investigations and produce clear, defensible investigative reports.
• Monitor and analyze the cyber threat and fraud landscape using OSINT, deep/dark web sources, industry tools, internal telemetry, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework to identify relevant threats, vulnerabilities, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Analyze system logs, transaction data, and user behavior to identify anomalies, high-risk patterns, and indicators of fraud; assess impact and develop mitigation and prevention strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

Exiger is seeking a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to expert guidance, direction, and organize the delivery of solutions and scale delivery of advanced analytics and AI-enabled capabilities supporting Army sustainment and supply chain risk management programs. This role drives the end-to-end execution of data-driven solutions—including AI/LLMs, data pipelines, and risk models—that enhance visibility, resilience, and readiness across the defense industrial base.

The Lead Forward Deployed Engineer will operate at the intersection of program leadership, data engineering, and sustainment operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and Army stakeholders to translate mission requirements into scalable, technically sound analytics workflows that directly inform risk mitigation and acquisition decisions across Army portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications – Required

• Proven record of managing AI- and data-driven programs supporting defense sustainment, logistics, or acquisition missions.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python, including hands-on experience with data manipulation, validation, and analytics (e.g., pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries).
• Strong SQL skills, capable of writing and optimizing queries for large, complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake for querying, data validation, and analytics — active Snowflake user strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflow orchestration in support of large-scale analytics environments.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge technical development and mission objectives, ensuring solutions are both feasible and impactful.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
