About the role:

As a Junior QA Automation Engineer on the Reflect team, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving a product that helps thousands of teams achieve high test coverage with minimal manual effort. You will own the automation quality strategy end-to-end, architect robust test frameworks, and work closely with engineering and product stakeholders to ensure Reflect continues to deliver a best-in-class experience.

• Reporting to the QA Lead, you will define and drive the automation roadmap, communicate risks, and ensure quality gates are met across releases.
• You will own the design and architecture of test automation frameworks and integrate them seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
• You will mentor junior QA engineers, conduct test design reviews, and champion best practices across the team.
• You will lead shift-left testing practices, embedding quality early in the development lifecycle within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• You will contribute to validating core Reflect capabilities including AI-driven test creation, cloud-based test execution, visual testing, and cross-browser/mobile coverage

Experience & Background

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software test automation
• Proven experience designing and architecting automation frameworks from scratch
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies using Jira
• Prior experience testing SaaS or cloud-based products is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Selenium, Playwright, or Cypressusing Python or Java — writing clean, maintainable, and reusable automation code
• Ability to automate across web, API, and mobile platforms
• Familiarity with no-code or AI-driven test automation tools (experience with Reflect or similar platforms is a bonus)
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Bamboo
• Deep understanding of REST principles and JSON-based data handling
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — able to influence quality decisions at the project level
• Experience with API testing tools such as RestAssured, Karate, or Postman
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized test environments
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers

Who you’ll be working with

We build the solutions dreamed up by the product and design teams. Our goal is to deliver working software every two weeks. We are a large team that spans across three global offices, but we collaborate and integrate front- and back-end components and interfaces to provide a user-centered experience through web and mobile platforms.

What you’ll be doing

• Work across both new feature development and production issues, ensuring system reliability and continuous improvement.
• Actively contribute to and approve code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Apply knowledge of architecture and design patterns in solution design.
• Write expert-level unit tests and own integration test completeness at the epic level.
• Develop code with a security-centric architecture
• Be proactive in pointing out release dependencies to mitigate risks.
• Actively identify refactoring opportunities to improve code maintainability and performance.
• Confidently provide engineering estimates during sprint planning.
• Own documentation for features developed and contribute to project onboarding documentation.
• Contribute to retrospectives and own action items to improve team performance.

What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)

Must have skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years experience as a Python Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of Python projects.
• Proficiency in Python programming language and its libraries/frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), including schema design and query optimization. 
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Github, Gitlab).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure or GCP is a plus.
• Familiarity and  knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (5+ years experience) with strong expertise in GCP and working knowledge of AWS and/or GCP to lead end-to-end cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. 

This role focuses on designing and operating secure, scalable, and production-grade cloud platforms, with emphasis on GCP-native services, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability, and cloud governance. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across GCP(preferred), AWS/GCP cloud.
• Own end to end DevOps responsibilities of the assigned project including architecture, implementation, and operations.
• Design and implement GCP project structure, folder hierarchy, and organization policies for environment isolation and governance.
• Design and manage infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and GCP-native tools where applicable.
• Design, build, Manage and support containerized and microservices based workloads using GKE and Cloud Run.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ensuring secure and reliable software delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles.
• Strong production experience with GCP(preferred), exposure to AWS or Azure is a plus and willingness to learn and work across other cloud environments as needed.
• Deep hands-on experience in designing and managing complex Terraform based infrastructure provisioning. Experience of configuration management tools such as Ansible is a plus.
• Strong understanding, design and management of secure networking architecture including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, private connectivity, Cloud Load Balancing, and Cloud CDN.
• Strong experience with container orchestration platforms such as GKE (must-have) and serverless containers like Cloud Run. Exposure to EKS, AKS, ECS is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture including advanced concepts such as ingress controllers, API gateways, Service mesh, autoscaling, cluster upgrades, networking and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing and optimizing autoscaling strategies across cloud infrastructure including Linux VMs and container orchestration platforms to ensure high availability, performance efficiency and cost optimization.
• Solid expertise in Docker, image optimization, security hardening, and container best practices.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions or similar tools with best practices to improve developer experience and integrating security tools.
