How you'll help us achieve it
Our Agent Quality team plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining a compliant and efficient agent network. Collaborating closely with our agent management and compliance teams, we develop robust internal policies, procedures, and practices to ensure agent compliance. Our goal is to ensure that every aspect of our agent network — from training initiatives to branding strategies — adheres seamlessly to both Wave’s standards and regulatory requirements.
By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to drive impactful change, ensuring that our network operates at the highest standards of quality and compliance in the industry.
In this role you’ll;
- Coordinate and lead the unit team to implement the strategy and achieve the planned objectives in agent quality management.
- Identify, plan, and coordinate monthly projects to improve processes and tools within the agent ops team.
- Coordinate policy reviews and process documentation, including key learnings, and help with knowledge transfer sessions with other affiliate country operations.
- Assist with ideas, special programs, project designs, and pilot implementations as may be determined by the business related to your unit.
- Help track agent quality through well-coordinated mystery shopping with your team.
- Manage a team of high-performing Mystery Shoppers, mentoring and coaching them to perform to the best of their ability.
- Devise ways to unearth and track tricks and ways by which agents do not utilize Wave’s allocated funds for the intended purpose, and suggest improvements.
- Develop and formalize control procedures to ensure the quality of agents across the network.
- Work from first principles to understand the user's biggest problems, then figure out how processes and tools should work to solve them.
- Prioritize the biggest problems blocking the unit's performance and impact.
- Support the Head of Operations in identifying and mitigating risks across the network and for our customers.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in IT, business administration, finance, criminology or other relevant disciplines.
- 3+ years of experience in operations.
- Experience in managing, coaching, and mentoring a high-performing team.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and the capability to interpret complex datasets to identify trends, draw actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to different regions within Cote d’Ivoire.

How you'll help us achieve it
Wave is now the largest financial institution in Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire, with millions of users, growing rapidly year on year. And, we’re still in the early days of our product roadmap and potential impact on people’s everyday lives.
We are looking for a Country Growth Operations Lead who will be based in one of our early-stage countries in West Africa, who will lead our efforts to expand our user base and manage user acquisition strategies in the allocated countries. This role involves leading both user growth operations and agent operations/agent liquidity to help grow a market from an early stage to 1 million monthly active users.
The Country Growth Ops Lead will report to the Head of Scaling Operations and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Country General Manager/Director of Operations.
In this role, you'll;
- Drive user growth by optimizing distribution strategies and leading user acquisition initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership and country teams to ensure alignment and maximize growth opportunities.
- Enhance distribution processes through partnership with product and engineering teams, leveraging technology and data.
- Oversee agent network operations, including acquisition, setup, and liquidity management, to support distribution and meet user demand.

- 8+ years of senior leadership experience in user acquisition/agent operations and liquidity management within mobile money, finance, fintech, telecoms, or tech.
- Language: Bilingual proficiency is mandatory, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.

- Proven sales ability with a successful track record in sales, including identifying customer needs and connecting corridors.

The Product Relations Manager (PRM) owns the product and technical dimension of our external partner integrations. You are the bridge between our partners and our product and engineering teams, responsible for evaluating, shaping, shipping, and maintaining the integrations that power our ecosystem.
In this role, you'll;
- Relentlessly build partner relationships and drive integrations end-to-end, from scoping through development, testing, and production launch to owning every blocker until it ships.
- Evaluate prospective partners' technical readiness and provide clear go/no-go recommendations before contracts are signed.
- Lead technical scoping with partners and translate requirements into specifications engineering can build against.
- Hold partners accountable for delivery and escalate firmly when things stall.
- Monitor integration health post-launch and drive resolution when performance degrades.

Ton rôle en notre sein :
En tant que Senior Data Scientist, tu joueras un rôle central dans la conception et la livraison de nos projets analytiques et prédictifs (churn, scoring, segmentation, séries temporelles, NLP…). Tes responsabilités incluront :
- Concevoir et développer des modèles de Machine Learning robustes et adaptés aux enjeux métiers de nos clients.
- Mener des analyses exploratoires approfondies pour identifier des opportunités à fort impact business.
- Assurer le feature engineering et la sélection des variables les plus prédictives en lien avec les Data Engineers.
- Contribuer à la mise en production des modèles via des pipelines MLOps fiables et reproductibles.
- Encadrer et faire monter en compétences les profils juniors de l'équipe Data Science.
- Vulgariser les résultats complexes et les traduire en recommandations actionnables pour les directions métiers.
- Participer aux phases avant-vente et au cadrage technique des projets clients.
- Assurer une veille active sur les nouvelles approches statistiques, ML et IA applicables à nos contextes.

Le profil que nous recherchons
- Diplôme Bac+5 en Data Science, Mathématiques appliquées, Statistiques ou Informatique.
- Minimum 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en Data Science, dont au moins 1 à 2 ans dans un rôle de lead technique ou de coordination de projet.
- Maîtrise de Python et des librairies clés : scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Expérience en industrialisation de modèles : MLflow, Docker, Git, pipelines CI/CD.
- Solides bases en statistiques : tests d'hypothèses, inférence bayésienne, modélisation des séries temporelles.
- SQL avancé et connaissance des entrepôts de données (BigQuery, Snowflake…).
- Aisance à communiquer des résultats techniques à des interlocuteurs non techniques.

Pour accompagner cette croissance, notre bureau d'Abidjan est à la recherche d'un(e) Senior Data Scientist pour apporter son énergie, son regard analytique et sa curiosité à nos projets en Afrique de l'Ouest.

Ton rôle en notre sein :
En tant que Senior Data Scientist, tu joueras un rôle central dans la conception et la livraison de nos projets analytiques et prédictifs (churn, scoring, segmentation, séries temporelles, NLP…). Tes responsabilités incluront :
- Concevoir et développer des modèles de Machine Learning robustes et adaptés aux enjeux métiers de nos clients.
- Mener des analyses exploratoires approfondies pour identifier des opportunités à fort impact business.
- Assurer le feature engineering et la sélection des variables les plus prédictives en lien avec les Data Engineers.
- Contribuer à la mise en production des modèles via des pipelines MLOps fiables et reproductibles.
- Encadrer et faire monter en compétences les profils juniors de l'équipe Data Science.
- Vulgariser les résultats complexes et les traduire en recommandations actionnables pour les directions métiers.
- Participer aux phases avant-vente et au cadrage technique des projets clients.
- Assurer une veille active sur les nouvelles approches statistiques, ML et IA applicables à nos contextes.

Le profil que nous recherchons
- Diplôme Bac+5 en Data Science, Mathématiques appliquées, Statistiques ou Informatique.
- Minimum 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en Data Science, dont au moins 1 à 2 ans dans un rôle de lead technique ou de coordination de projet.
- Maîtrise de Python et des librairies clés : scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Expérience en industrialisation de modèles : MLflow, Docker, Git, pipelines CI/CD.
- Solides bases en statistiques : tests d'hypothèses, inférence bayésienne, modélisation des séries temporelles.
- SQL avancé et connaissance des entrepôts de données (BigQuery, Snowflake…).
- Aisance à communiquer des résultats techniques à des interlocuteurs non techniques.
