About this Warehouse Operator (Forklift and Pick Pack) role at Chill
CHILL is a growing refrigerated logistics operation — and we need a hands-on all-rounder who takes pride in doing the job right.
Think F1 pit crew. Trucks don't sit idle on your watch — they arrive, get unloaded, reloaded, and leave. Fast, accurate, no fuss. From there, the whole warehouse flows: the pick team needs product in the right location, the pack team needs the right quantities ready, and orders need to be at the dock before the driver finishes their pre-trip. None of that happens without a Forklift Operator who knows exactly what they're doing.
Your job is to make everyone else's job possible. Pull you out of the operation and everyone feels it within the hour.
We'll be honest: we've worked with operators who are technically excellent and genuinely unsafe. At CHILL, we need both. Safety is non-negotiable — if you believe it's someone else's job, this probably isn't the right team for you.
Requirements
- Current, valid LF forklift licence — hard requirement
- Right to work in Australia
- 2+ years warehouse experience
- Genuine safety awareness — not just "I've done the course"
- Comfortable working in cold and freezer environments for extended periods
- Physically fit and alert — this is an active, demanding role
- Reliable and consistent — safe operation depends on showing up focused every shift
- Able to pass a National Police Check and pre-employment medical
