SumUp's Treasury team sits at the heart of the bank's financial operations, managing liquidity, regulatory compliance, and the day-to-day mechanics of the Brazilian Payment System (SPB). As SumUp Bank continues to grow, this team plays a critical role in keeping the business running safely and efficiently — balancing speed with precision in a highly regulated environment. What you'll do
- Manage daily operations across the Brazilian Payment System (SPB), including STR, SPI, and SELIC desks, working with increasing autonomy over time
- Monitor key processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and control across all treasury activities, flagging outliers and communicating variances clearly to leadership
- Support the funding and liquidity needs of the bank's products, developing a strong understanding of cash flow dynamics
- Build and maintain KPIs and reporting to support operational decision-making
- Identify and propose automation and process improvement opportunities, contributing to cross-functional initiatives
You'll be great for this role if…
- Solid working knowledge of automation and data analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Python, with an interest in applying them to improve processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience handling and reconciling data from multiple sources.
- Familiarity with financial operations in a regulated environment and a basic understanding of cash flow and liquidity concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with urgency and reliability under time pressure.
- Clear communication skills, with comfort engaging multiple internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Intermediate English proficiency, with the ability to read and write in a professional context.
