About Remedy Robotics

Remedy Robotics is a medical technology company developing robotic systems for endovascular intervention. Its proprietary technology combines robotics, machine learning, and advanced computer vision to help physicians perform highly precise endovascular procedures and expand access to life-saving stroke and cardiovascular care. Initially focused on neurovascular intervention, Remedy is addressing the limited availability of specialized treatment for time-critical cardiovascular emergencies, with the long-term goal of enabling expert intervention regardless of patient location. Headquartered in San Francisco, Remedy is backed by DCVC, Blackbird, and Tony Fadell's Build Collective, among others.

The Role

Remedy Robotics is looking for a Technical Project Manager who can keep a world-class team moving fast. We are developing an autonomous robotic system for life-saving interventions when and where human specialists are unavailable. This role sits at the center of it all, driving alignment across engineering, clinical, and research teams to deliver groundbreaking work on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Employ techniques to define, plan, organize, schedule, budget, manage, and close out R&D focused projects.

  • Lead day-to-day coordination across engineering, clinical, and research teams to maintain program momentum.

  • Manage critical projects with highly technical content and government customer involvement.

  • Lead teams of engineers across mechanical, electrical, software, and systems disciplines. Provide technical cognizance as needed.

  • Manage consultants — including SOW development, deliverable tracking, and invoice review.

  • Manage project milestones and deliverables. Track performance and delivery of subcontracts.

  • Assess and mitigate project risks and manage project issues.

  • Analyze project finances. Maintain cost reports and forecasts.

  • Consult with engineering leads to coordinate project resources and staffing.

  • Assess project performance and present status at internal and external program reviews.

  • Lead preparation and submission of technical reports and required contract deliverables.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and procedural issues.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in a technical field (engineering, biomedical engineering, systems engineering, math, or science).

  • 5+ years of experience actively conducting program/project management on government-funded R&D (ideally DoD)

  • Proven experience in a relevant technical area, including mechanical, electrical, software, or systems integration.

  • Experience in medical devices, surgical robotics, or life sciences research environments.

  • Experience translating engineering Jira workflows into high-level government milestone tracking

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Documented ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
