As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for supporting and managing a sales team within a specified cluster. You need to have the ability to guide the team to success whilst keeping your finger on the pulse and being commercially aware of what is happening in the market.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and supervise a team of Sales Account Managers and Hunters to achieve the area target.
  • Set monthly targets for their teams ( Sales Account Managers for new and existing business and hunters – for new business).
  • Monitor team performance and motivate them to achieve team and individual targets.
  • Track and maintain records of team sales, payments and account reviews.
  • Be involved in hiring for the team/area according to the profile.
  • Coach team members on sales techniques, products, upsell and cross-sell.
  • Source feedback to marketing, operations and tech teams for enhancing product effectiveness, client issues and concerns.
  • Collect customer feedback and market research, and channel it internally for effective measures and follow-ups.
  • Verify agency data/ numbers in the respective area to analyse growth opportunities and determine recruiting needs.
  • Establish, maintain and expand the​ customer base through effective team management and allocate new agencies to the existing team.
  • Keep track of agency pools and verify agency data in their area.
  • Source feedback to and from operations and the sales team for effective planning and execution.
  • Stay up to date with competitors’ products and packages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • A valid UAE licence is required.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
  • In-depth understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market and the needs of assigned accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of the local market.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and competence displayed in challenging sales scenarios.
  • Demonstrates an expert level of objection handling tactics and identifies real objections.
  • Ability to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Flexibility to learn new products over time.
  • People-oriented.
