The role of Talent Strategist at Kanner & Pintaluga has been created to address the need for a more proactive and distinctive recruiting strategy. The primary objective of this role is to increase employer brand awareness and help prospective employees understand what makes Kanner & Pintaluga a unique place to build a career. As we scale to become the nation's premier litigation partner, we need a creative and execution-oriented professional to help articulate our employer brand, attract top legal talent, and build a proactive talent attraction and recruiting engine. This is not a traditional recruiter position and not a pure marketing role. It is a hybrid employer branding and talent attraction role focused on helping the firm proactively attract top legal talent and build a long-term recruiting engine.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Employer Brand Strategy: Develop and lead a comprehensive talent branding program that highlights the firm's strengths in collaboration and growth.
  • Content Creation: Develop recruiting-focused content that highlights firm culture, employee testimonials, career growth stories, attorney development, trial team successes, and the collaborative nature of the firm.
  • Careers Site Revamp: Enhance our careers page and the candidate journey to convert interest into high-quality applicants.
  • Proactive Recruiting: Source, reach out to, and screen potential candidates, focusing particularly on litigators and trial attorneys.
  • Partnership with HR: Work alongside HR to support recruiting initiatives, talent outreach campaigns, candidate engagement efforts, and the implementation of employer branding best practices.
  • Social Media Campaigns: Utilize social media advertising to amplify the firm’s employer brand and reach a broader pool of talent.
  • Progress Reporting: Monitor and report recruitment metrics, refine strategies based on data, and provide updates to leadership.


What we’re looking for:          

  • Execution Over Credentials: We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds. Legal industry experience, attorney recruiting experience, and specific years of experience are less important than demonstrated work ethic, creativity, initiative, and the ability to execute ideas successfully.
  • Marketing/Branding Experience: Expertise in branding, social media, and content creation, ideally with multi-brand exposure.
  • Proactive Recruiting Skills: Experience in sourcing and engaging passive candidates, with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter being advantageous.
  • Independence and Initiative: Proven ability to generate ideas and execute initiatives without excessive supervision.
  • Work Ethic: A strong dedication to achieving results, backed by prior evidence of hard work and initiative.
  • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
