About this Talent Partner role at Oak
We're reimagining enterprise Identity and Access Management from the ground up. Founded by serial entrepreneurs Shai Morag and Tal Marom and backed by a $60M seed round from Greylock, Accel, and CRV, we're building the next generation of identity security. Identity is the gateway to everything- who's let in, who's kept out, and it's now the number one attack vector in the enterprise. The tools built to govern it were designed for a slower world of human users and static environments. That world is gone. Identities are exploding across human, machine, and AI agents faster than legacy systems can track, and security teams are left patching together five disconnected tools that still can't answer "who has access to what, right now." We think the answer isn't another point solution- it's a new foundation. Oak is the AI-native Identity Operating System: an AI connector framework that reaches any application, a live identity graph built from raw evidence, and a team of AI agents that governs the full lifecycle of every identity in one platform. We're building Oak's AI-native core from day one-engineered for what enterprise identity is becoming, not patched onto what it used to be. And we're just getting started.
About the Role:
As Oak's first dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll own full-cycle recruiting across both R&D and GTM functions, sourcing and closing exceptional candidates for roles spanning multiple geographies. This is a builder's seat: we're a fast-growing, early-stage company, which means you'll be establishing process and muscle alongside filling pipelines — not inheriting a playbook. We're looking for someone who combines sharp candidate assessment instincts with fluency in AI-powered recruiting tools, using them to eliminate friction at every stage of the funnel rather than as an afterthought. The pace is high, the scope is global, and the expectation is that you bring both rigor and velocity to everything you run.
What you will Do:
• Build and continuously optimize sourcing pipelines using creative, non-obvious channels to identify and engage top-tier candidates across technical and business functions.
• Partner directly with hiring managers to build teams from the ground up — translating headcount needs into structured hiring plans, scorecards, and repeatable processes.
• Own the full candidate lifecycle from first touch to offer close, delivering a sharp, consistent experience that reflects Oak's standards at every stage.
• Conduct rigorous behavioral depth interviews with a high-stakes lens: at this stage of company growth, every hire is a meaningful culture-shaper.
• Design and implement the recruiting infrastructure — ATS hygiene, interview frameworks, onboarding handoffs — that scales as the company scales.
• Track and analyze recruiting quality metrics to surface signal on what's working, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
• Leverage AI-powered recruiting tools to streamline operations, reduce friction in the process, and free capacity for the high-judgment work that matters.
What you will bring:
• 5+ years of hands-on recruiting experience in high-growth tech organizations, with a strong preference for B2B SaaS and cybersecurity companies — startup experience is a meaningful advantage.
• Proven ability to own the full recruitment lifecycle end-to-end, spanning technical, R&D, and business roles, with the sourcing and headhunting instincts to reach talent that isn't actively looking.
• Global recruiting experience across multiple geographies, with the cultural fluency and operational discipline that cross-border hiring demands.
• A track record of building and refining recruiting infrastructure — not just filling roles, but designing the processes, frameworks, and candidate journeys that make a talent function scale.
• Data-driven by default: you define and track the metrics that matter, use them to diagnose bottlenecks, and make decisions backed by evidence rather than intuition alone.
• Genuine enthusiasm for employer brand — from shaping the narrative and creative thinking to executing campaigns that make Oak a destination for the engineers, security researchers, and identity experts we're competing to hire.
• An AI-native recruiter who actively builds and deploys AI-powered workflows and recruiting agents, treating automation as a core capability rather than an afterthought.
