Staff Accountant

💰 RD$21,600 per week

🕒 Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our accounting operations in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. This role works closely with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and facility teams to ensure financial accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and improve internal processes.

Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly close

•⁠ ⁠Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledgers

•⁠ ⁠Support cash management, banking activities, and lender reporting

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with AR, AP, Payroll, and facility teams to resolve issues

•⁠ ⁠Assist with budgets, audits, and capital tracking

•⁠ ⁠Support Medicaid and Medicare reporting

•⁠ ⁠Participate in special projects, including system transitions and corporate initiatives

Requirements

•⁠ ⁠Strong attention to detail, reliability, and follow-through

•⁠ ⁠Solid understanding of GAAP

•⁠ ⁠Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

•⁠ ⁠Experience managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

•⁠ ⁠Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus (training will be provided)
