We are hiring a Sports Data Analyst on behalf of our partner in Latvia.

Role Overview:

As a Sports Data Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring betting activity in real time to protect the sportsbook from harmful exposure while ensuring a fair and safe betting environment for customers. The right candidate will understand that effective risk management is essential to sportsbook profitability and will take that responsibility seriously, balancing sharp analytical judgment with the ability to act decisively under pressure, while also supporting and guiding junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor real-time sports events/results.
• Investigate and analyze market trends to obtain insights that assists in the prediction of customer behavior patterns.
• Keep up-to-date with sporting activity by following sports events and new updates.
• Observe competitor activity and make real-time adjustments where appropriate.
• Liaise with various internal departments.
• Remain flexible and support any other tasks needed to maintain a stable and effective team operation.
• Escalate and report problems that prohibit performing daily tasks.

Requirements

• Passion for Sports.
• Knowledge of pre-match and/or live trading will be considered as an advantage.
• Language proficiency in Latvian & English.
• Able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Strong numerical and mathematical skills.
• Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Team player as well as a self-starter.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
