Position Summary
The SAP Master Data Steward is responsible for managing e.l.f.’s data assets and ensuring their quality and usefulness. In addition, the SAP Data Steward will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to ensure data accuracy in downstream systems and root cause data issues. They will be responsible for ensuring that the organization's data is accurate, current, usable, accessible, safe, and trusted throughout its lifecycle. The MD Steward will act as a data curator, focusing on data awareness, accessibility, releases, and management.

Shift Timings: 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST
Responsibilities
Data Collection: Defining data collection, reporting, and quality assurance processes. Working closely with the PLM Master Data Steward on source data, while creating SAP-specific master data.
Data Issues: Proactively identify, root cause, and resolve data quality issues — and propose systemic fixes to prevent recurrence.
Data Advocacy: Championing data best practices and enabling data owners through training and communications.
compliance with governance policies and procedures.
Data Governance & Quality: Lead the development and continuous improvement of master data governance policies and scalable workflows.
Drive data requirements for system enhancements, new integrations, and data model changes — from scoping through UAT.
Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, or improve master data processes; propose and pilot solutions in partnership with IT and Operations.
Requirements
• 2–4 years of experience working with SAP Material Master Data, with demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and drive improvements. Experience with Centric and/or PLMs a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Beauty industry, retail background and/or product life cycle management strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Excellent analytical, follow-up, and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work autonomously across functions to meet deadlines and drive tasks to completion.
• System implementation experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
