As a Software Engineer at AFS, you will be a key part of a collaborative team dedicated to building and improving cutting-edge software solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of meaningful projects in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain a variety of software systems, from large-scale data platforms to real-time analytics
- Collaborate with stakeholders to transform ideas into new features and user-friendly designs
- Write, test, and debug clean, efficient code to ensure our systems are reliable and performant
- Solve interesting problems by developing and implementing robust algorithms
- Work with a team to test software, create documentation, and ensure everything we build meets the highest standards
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript)
- Experience with software development methodologies (e.g.: Agile, Scrum, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Four (4) years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree.

- Experience with language specific frameworks:
- Java frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, etc.
- JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.
- Python frameworks: Django, Flask, etc.
- C++ frameworks: STL, Qt, Boost, etc.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as ElasticSearch or MongoDB
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud development technologies
Clearance:
Must have a TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
