We are looking for a dedicated Site Lead to join the Odeko family! As a Site Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of a warehouse facility independently, without an onsite General Manager. You will be responsible for managing the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the site, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services
- Monitor and manage delivery schedules, routes, and logistics to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high service standards.
- Coordinate and lead the Picking, Packing, Routing, and Dispatching activities.
- Utilize systems (Netsuite, RF Smart, Shopify, Hubspot) to troubleshoot, deep dive issues, and streamline processes.
- Innovate on processes to drive improvement.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse associates and delivery drivers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and training to enhance team performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Maintain health and safety standards within the area and promote a positive culture on site.
- Carry out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Customer Service:
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong communication and service quality.
- Implement strategies to improve customer experience and retention.
Financial Management:
- Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the site with oversight from the Regional Director, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Develop and manage the site budget, including labor, equipment, and material costs.
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvement.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, key metrics, and KPIs.
- Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans based on analytical insights.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols for delivery operations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Internally interface with cross-functional partners including Supply Chain, Engineering, Customer Service, and Revenue.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic technical skills and the ability to learn the Odeko technology platform.
- Able to lift packages (up to 50 lbs.) numerous times in a given shift.
- Independent problem solver who is passionate about customer service.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shift.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education beyond High School, and/or prior experience managing employees.
- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement.
- Experience operating forklifts and other powered industrial lifts.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).
- Tech savvy and adaptable to new technological processes.
- Experience with onboarding, hiring, and training new employees.
Working Conditions:
- This position is based in a warehouse environment.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Compensation for this role is between $75,00 - $85,000
