Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Syndicated Loans Officer to join our Lending Middle Office & Loan Administration Department on a 1 CDD. The successful candidate will play a key role in the administration and servicing of international syndicated loan transactions across a diversified portfolio of private banking and corporate banking clients.

This position is ideally suited to a banking professional with solid experience in syndicated lending operations, loan administration, and complex financing structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor a portfolio of international syndicated loan facilities throughout their lifecycle.
• Act as the primary operational contact for Agent Banks, Borrowers, Lenders, Legal Counsel, and internal stakeholders.
• Review and process drawdowns, repayments, rollovers, interest settlements, fee payments, and amendments.
• Ensure compliance with facility agreements, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate funding notices and cash movements with Treasury and Operations.
• Monitor financial and non-financial covenants and maintain accurate records.
• Review legal documentation and ensure proper booking and maintenance of loan facilities within the Bank's systems.
• Participate in new product implementation and process improvement initiatives.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory reviews.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Bank's syndicated lending capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant banking experience in syndicated loans, loan administration, structured finance, corporate banking operations, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of syndicated loan documentation and market practices.
• Experience working with Agent Banks and multi-lender facilities.
• Good understanding of loan accounting principles and lending products.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Languages

• Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• French will be considered a strong advantage.
• Additional European languages will be considered an asset.
