We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer/Coordinator to support the outsourced join our engineering team on a large, dynamic studio campus. This role will report directly to the Chief Building Engineer and provide essential support to the Program/Project Manager, focusing on the planning, execution, and closeout of a wide array of capital improvement projects, infrastructure maintenance initiatives, and operational enhancements across the campus. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
Required
- 2-5 years of experience in project coordination, project engineering, or construction
management, preferably within a large commercial campus, studio, or corporate
environment.
- Proven understanding of core building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP)
systems and general construction practices.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Google Suite, Asana, Primavera
P6).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and technical
specifications.
Preferred
- Experience working in a studio, media, or entertainment industry environment.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo, SAP, ServiceChannel).
- EIT certification, PMP certification, or other relevant professional accreditation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Construction
Management) or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes in the Albuquerque area.
