You are a hands-on, experienced Product Manager who will own part of the product strategy and roadmap and drive best practices for our Mortgage product offering at Ocrolus. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be a market and industry expert and drive that understanding across engineering, data science, product management, and Ocrolus’s client-facing functions.
You will lead the product roadmap and work with the engineering team to fulfill the product strategy, and drive client engagement, usage, and value proposition for current and future clients and industry partners.
What You’ll Do:
- Craft and own the product roadmap for your team, and be responsible for setting priorities backed up by data and customer feedback.
- Research competition, assess the markets, analyze data, and incorporate the learnings while crafting roadmaps and vision for the product.
- Align teams (Engineering, Operations, Sales & Marketing, Document Writing, etc.) and functions at Ocrolus through process flows, business cases, strategy documents, specs, and designs.
- Act as the SME for your products and maintain knowledge of competitive solutions.
- Develop KPIs, monitor progress continuously, and report on milestones and deliverables.
- Work with stakeholders across the business to identify new opportunities and educate them on how current technology-backed product offerings can better achieve their goals.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery cycle of product features, including phased rollout to customers and internal teams, quick iterations, and full-stack launches.
- Outline the plan for achieving product success and maintain and update existing product features.
- Work with analytics teams to develop dashboards and reports on key metrics; constantly monitor, report, and act on them to improve and optimize the product offering.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong background in product management in the mortgage industry.
- Demonstrated ability to act with urgency and prioritize appropriately.
- Evidence of launching successful products in structured work environments.
- Analytical mindset to objectively evaluate the problem and the impact being achieved.
- Sound understanding of APIs and ability to build solutions that help a wide range of customers.
- Ability to articulate complex problems to a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to convince and align internal stakeholders across all levels and functions.
- Flair for good UI/UX and a passion to deliver products that delight customers.
- Focus on the commercial success of products and services being launched.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with failure (e.g., a product launch that didn’t go as planned) and the ability to course correct.
- Comfortable working across time zones in a flexible, remote-first environment with global teammates.
Bonus Points:
- Management degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Product Management experience.
- Prior experience with OCR, IDP (Intelligent Document Processing), or AI/ML-powered document platforms.
- Familiarity with LOS integrations (Encompass / ICE Mortgage Technology, Blend, etc.).
- Experience working with enterprise B2B customers with long sales and implementation cycles.
