About this Senior Product Designer role at Revin
About Revin
At Revin, our mission is to bring superintelligence to the built world. Millions of operators across Home Services, Construction, and Remodeling have been overlooked by the last wave of technology. We believe AI is the most transformational platform change in history, but the hard work lies in thoughtful, context-aware applications of this technology to the real world.
Revin provides operators with an end-to-end system of intelligence to automate and scale revenue. Our modular suite of products includes Scheduling, Appointment Management, Membership Management, Inside Sales, Revenue Capture, Marketing, and Funnel Optimization.
Today, over $3B in revenue runs on Revin, making us the number one AI partner for enterprise operators. Our customers include Sears Home Services ($800M), Astara Capital ($700M), Del Air ($150M), Long Home Remodeling ($150M), ImproveIt Remodeling ($100M), Sage Home ($80M), and more. We have raised $10M from top investors including Stellation Capital, 1Sharpe, Gokul Rajaram, Russ Heddleston, Michael Werner, Tandem, Max Branzburg, and Marc Bhargava.
About the Role
We are hiring our first in-house Senior Product Designer to own product design end-to-end: the dashboard where operators configure, monitor, and trust AI agents that handle revenue-critical conversations over SMS, voice, and email. When our agent gets something wrong, it can cost a customer real money, so much of the work is designing for trust. Our users run $100M+ businesses and are busy running them, not learning software, so your job is to make a genuinely complex AI system feel obvious.
This is a founding role: you will set the design foundation the rest of the company builds on, and work AI-natively to get there.
Why This Role
The honest pitch: we are handing the entire design surface of the company to one person, right before it gets much bigger.
The dashboard is yours. The design system is yours. The patterns that decide whether an operator trusts an AI agent with their revenue, yours. How Revin looks and feels in the market, yours. You will not be handed a style guide and a backlog. You will decide what good looks like here and then build it.
This is our first in-house design hire, and the ceiling is the design function itself. Do this well and you grow into leading design as we scale the team.
What You Will Do
Own product outcomes end-to-end for the Revin dashboard, from problem framing through research, interaction design, high-fidelity UI, and design QA in production. What matters most is whether the experience genuinely works for customers
Work as an equal partner to the product manager and engineers, shaping what to build together rather than taking specs and handing back mocks
Make the agent trustworthy by design: show operators what it did and why, surface the evidence behind a decision, give them clear ways to review and override, and design a calm path for when it gets something wrong
Hide the complexity, not the capability: absorb the hard logic behind the scenes so the everyday path stays simple for a busy operator
Turn dense, real-world data (conversations, funnels, bookings, revenue) into clear information design and data visualization operators can act on
Prototype at whatever fidelity fits the question, from code (Claude Code, Cursor) to Figma, to pressure-test how something feels before it costs engineering time
Own and mature our design system alongside engineering. There is already a foundation (shadcn/ui, Radix, Storybook, Tailwind) but no designer driving it, so you will bring it under a coherent point of view and keep the product consistent as it scales
Partner with engineers on a Next.js / TypeScript / React front end to ship the real thing and hold the bar through launch and iteration
Talk to customers directly, sit in on calls and onboarding, and let what you learn steer the work instead of waiting on formal research cycles
Bring design judgment to the marketing site, brand, and customer-facing collateral when the company needs it
Raise the design bar across the company and lay the groundwork for a future design team
Who You Are
5+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio of shipped, complex B2B or SaaS products
A strong systems thinker who is equally comfortable with big-picture flows and pixel-level craft
Fluent in modern design tooling (Figma) and experienced building and maintaining design systems
You already use AI as a core part of how you design: comfortable working in Claude Code and Cursor to build functional, code-based prototypes, even if you do not write production code by hand
Comfortable designing for data-dense, workflow-heavy products where clarity matters more than polish for its own sake
A real point of view on the design problems specific to AI products: how to handle uncertainty, show where an answer came from, signal how much to trust it, and fail gracefully
Collaborative with engineers and comfortable enough with front-end realities (React, HTML/CSS) to partner on implementation and design QA
Customer-obsessed. You want to be close to the people using what you build and let their reality drive your decisions
A continuous learner comfortable operating in ambiguity. You ship, learn, and adapt
Bonus
Experience designing human-AI collaboration or agentic workflows where people stay in the loop on high-stakes decisions
Front-end skills (React, Tailwind) or a track record of shipping alongside engineers in the codebase
Prior experience as a first or early design hire, or setting up a design function, culture, and process from scratch
Ability to define visual identity and brand systems from scratch
Motion, prototyping, or illustration chops
Don't Work Here If
You prefer to work from a clear brief and an established system. Here, you will be creating them
You are looking for a predictable, clearly-scoped 9-5. We move fast, the pace is high, and priorities shift as we learn
You would rather perfect work in isolation than ship, learn, and iterate in production
You want a narrow, single-function role. Product is the focus, but the work is intentionally broad, and some weeks you will be in the brand or the marketing site instead
Applying AI to the built world does not excite you. This is early, uncharted work, not a well-trodden path
