Overview
Join an iconic brand that is set to redefine the pick-up truck and rugged SUV marketplace. As a Senior Manager, Digital Product Management, you will lead a team of Product Managers responsible for delivering digital products that power Scout's Aftersales ecosystem.
You will be responsible for driving product execution, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, developing your team, and ensuring Scout delivers scalable digital capabilities that support exceptional customer and service experiences.
This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives in ambiguity, and has a proven track record building products, teams, and operating models from 0-to-1 in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
What you’ll do

Team Leadership & Product Delivery
- Hire, lead and develop a team of Product Managers responsible for Scout's Aftersales digital product portfolio.
- Establish operational objectives, priorities, and execution plans that align with organizational goals and product strategy.
- Drive delivery across multiple product domains while balancing competing priorities, dependencies, and resource constraints.
Portfolio Execution
- Oversee a portfolio of products supporting service and aftersales operations.
- Ensure priorities, roadmaps, and delivery plans remain aligned across the portfolio.
- Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision making.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and execution challenges and proactively drive resolution.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with Engineering, Aftersales Business, Retail Operations, Customer Support, Regulatory Affairs, and IT teams to deliver business outcomes.
- Influence stakeholders across multiple functional areas and build alignment around product priorities and delivery plans.
- Lead complex discussions involving competing business needs, technical constraints, and operational considerations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on digital service and aftersales capabilities.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee successful rollout, adoption, and support of digital products across Scout service operations and retail locations.
- Establish performance metrics, business KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to measure product effectiveness and customer value.
- Drive improvements in operational efficiency, service processes, and user experience through digital solutions.
Product Execution
- Translate long-term product strategy into actionable roadmaps and release plans.
- Ensure Product Managers maintain clear product requirements, priorities, and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive execution from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Maintain focus on customer needs, business value, scalability, and operational readiness.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be remote.
- Applicants should expect that the role may require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- 10+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of complex enterprise-scale products and platforms.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience managing Product Managers or cross-functional product teams.
- Experience in leading 0-to-1 product development initiatives and launching new digital platforms in environments with evolving requirements and limited precedent.
- Experience managing multiple products or product portfolios simultaneously.
- Direct to consumer aftersales experience is a plus.
- Automotive, mobility, or enterprise service operations experience strongly preferred.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and cloud technologies.
- Demonstrated success delivering digital platforms supporting Aftersales, Service Operations, Warranty, Parts or other enterprise business functions.
Leadership & Skills
- Proven ability to lead teams through ambiguity and establish direction in evolving environments.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge conventional thinking, identify creative solutions, and drive innovation in complex business and technology environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple business functions.
- Experience balancing strategic objectives with tactical execution.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Data-driven approach to product management and operational performance.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $160,000.00 - $192,500.00
Initial California base salary range = 176,000 - $211,750
