Job Summary:

The Magento Developer at Creative Chaos will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining eCommerce websites built on the Magento platform. This role involves working closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable online solutions that meet client requirements and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Magento development, capable of customizing and optimizing Magento installations for maximum performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain eCommerce applications on the Magento platform
• Customize Magento modules and themes based on client specifications
• Implement and manage Magento extensions and plugins
• Optimize website performance, including load times and user experience
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design responsive and visually appealing eCommerce sites
• Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards across projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Magento applications
• Stay updated with the latest Magento developments and best practices
• Prepare technical documentation and project reports as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Magento development
• Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL
• Experience with Magento 2.x and a good understanding of its architecture
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Proficient in creating and managing custom extensions, modules, and themes
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Magento certification is a plus
