We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to build and enhance enterprise-grade healthcare applications. This role involves developing scalable, high-performance solutions using Java, JavaFX, and Microservices architecture while contributing to the design and implementation of healthcare technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, healthcare interoperability standards, and modern software engineering practices.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust healthcare applications using Java and JavaFX.
  • Build and enhance Microservices-based architectures to support scalable and reliable healthcare solutions.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between systems and applications.
  • Utilize Hibernate/JPA for efficient database access and persistence management.
  • Optimize database queries and application performance to ensure high system responsiveness.
  • Implement dependency injection frameworks such as Google Guice or Spring to improve application maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in system design, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Support CI/CD processes, source control management, and Agile development practices.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability and data exchange standards.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
  • Strong expertise in Java, JavaFX, Microservices, REST APIs, Hibernate, and JPA.
  • Experience designing and developing large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Solid understanding of Healthcare Domain workflows and standards such as EMR, EHR, HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
  • Strong knowledge of database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Spring or Google Guice.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of complex technical initiatives and contribute to architectural decisions.
