Job Title: Senior Integrated Fundraising Specialist 

Position Summary:  

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) is seeking top talent for its Senior Integrated Fundraising Specialist position.  This position plays a critical role in shaping and advancing the fundraising strategy for the Foundation’s $2.5B five-year Comprehensive Campaign. This role drives the integration of the campaign strategy across the Development team’s programs and projects. This position is a connector across Research, Policy and MarComms to ensure a fully integrated, audience-focused approach that moves donors to action. This position leads the development of promotional and activation plans that help programs reach annual goals while aligning with the larger multi-year Campaign vision.  In close partnership with Campaign Leadership, Fundraising and the Events team, this role helps to define and operationalize the launch of the Public Phase of the Foundation’s Campaign and guide strategy through Campaign close. 

  
Key Responsibilities:  

  • Drive the implementation and optimization of the Foundation’s Comprehensive Campaign’s public phase in partnership with Principal Giving, Peer-to-Peer, Annual Giving, Mid-level Giving, Major Giving, and Planned Giving audiences 
  • Translate and implement the integrated activation strategy for the Campaign public phase, ensuring alignment across channels, audiences, and fundraising programs 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to Campaign and Development Leadership, translating insights into actionable recommendations that improve performance and donor experience 
  • In partnership with Fundraising Operations and Donor Experience, lead the mapping of key constituent personas, attributes, and donor lifecycles to inform customized Campaign engagement and retention strategies 
  • Support and implement key strategies for cultivation and stewardship moments for VIP prospects, donors, and champions 
  • Define and evolve engagement strategies for priority donor segments, including multi-generational families and Next Gen philanthropists 
  • Leverage analytics and performance data to inform recommendations and optimize campaign execution, partnering with Analytics, Growth and Operations teams to maintain and evolve Campaign reporting (DOMO dashboard) to optimize data-driven insights, analyses, and opportunities 
  • Set priorities and timelines for integrated campaign activations, collaborating closely with Project Management team to identify key dates for successful Direct Response projects and larger Campaign initiatives. Lead working sessions, deliverables, and final project plans. 
  • Collaborate with Campaign team, Fundraising, Marketing, Creative and Comms teams to incorporate Campaign messaging, creative visuals and clear calls to action into existing projects 
  • Recommend and activate, with alignment from Campaign team, an integrated content and communications roadmap with key moments for inclusion of Campaign messaging and CTAs 
  • Serve as a positive and unifying figure who can contribute to the development culture at the Foundation and exhibit the Foundation's values in daily interactions 

 

Qualifications and Skills:  

  • Relevant experience in fundraising, integrated marketing, campaign strategy or communications at a nonprofit, with demonstrated ownership of multi-channel strategies  
  • Relevant experience developing and operationalizing audience segmentation and engagement strategies 
  • Experience managing or contributing to campaign launches or major organizational milestones 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue impact through strategic planning, segmentation, and cross-channel campaign execution 
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across teams without direct authority 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a high level of comfort and professionalism with direct fundraiser and donor interaction  
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including excellent writing skills 
  • High level of discretion and respect for fundraiser/donor privacy  
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM software or equivalent software and excellent Microsoft Office skills  
  • A willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed. This position requires some travel, occasional weekend travel may be required

Compensation & Benefits
Individual compensation for this role is dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, skillsets, and applicable laws.  In addition to salary, the Foundation offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Salary Range
$90,000$110,000 USD
