Accesssoftek · Onsite · Anyware

Access Softek has been building software for the financial industry for over 30 years. Headquartered in Berkeley, California, we work with hundreds of banks and credit unions across the U.S., helping them deliver modern digital banking experiences to millions of users.

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to join our Business Banking & External Payments Team.

This team builds and supports business banking and external payment features used in real financial workflows. Their work includes ACH transfers, checks, bill pay, balance transfer, and business payment tools — the kinds of functionality that combine customer-facing product work with integration-heavy backend logic. The team works in a SAFe environment and is a strong fit for an engineer who likes solving practical full-stack problems in a complex domain.

You will work with React, TypeScript, C#, .NET, SQL Server, and AWS, partnering closely with product managers, QA engineers, and developers in a distributed team. AI tools are also part of the team’s everyday workflow, helping developers move faster with coding, debugging, refactoring, testing, and documentation.

Important: this role requires at least 4 hours of overlap with morning Pacific Time (6–10 AM PST).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test, and document solutions across frontend, backend, and database layers

  • Design and document internal and public APIs
  • Write unit and integration tests and contribute to a high standard of code quality
  • Follow engineering best practices around code review, version control, CI/CD, and secure development
  • Take ownership of changes from refinement through deployment and production support
  • Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers in a distributed team
  • Investigate issues, analyze logs and telemetry, and deliver safe, reliable fixes
  • Contribute to automation across build, test, release, and deployment processes
  • Share knowledge and help improve team development practices
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial software development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with C# and modern .NET / ASP.NET Core

  • Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, code review practices, and automated quality controls
  • Experience working with both legacy systems and modern service-based architectures
  • Understanding of web security fundamentals and secure coding practices
  • Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, JetBrains AI, Claude, or similar tools, or strong readiness to adopt them quickly
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated output and maintain ownership of technical decisions and delivered code
  • Good communication skills and Intermediate+ English
  • Nice to have:

    • Experience with AWS cloud services
    • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless architectures
    • Experience with microservices and distributed systems
    • Experience with NoSQL databases

    • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, JetBrains AI, Claude, or similar tools
    • Readiness to learn and adopt AI tools in development workflows
    • Experience improving developer productivity through automation, internal tooling, or AI-assisted workflows
