Position: Senior Frontend HubSpot Web Developer

Salary: NZD 2,500 to 4,500 per month (depending on skills and experience)

Working Hours & Conditions: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm fixed start time; should complete nine (9) hours work

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Senior Frontend HubSpot Web Developer to join the company's team in a remote capacity. This is a hands-on development role where you will design and build Content Hub modules, themes, templates, and HubDB-driven pages from Figma files and Asana briefs. You will work alongside a backend developer to deliver frontend functionality for online shopping, commerce flows, and membership self-service — all within the HubSpot ecosystem. This role suits a self-directed developer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment and takes ownership of quality and delivery.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Content Hub modules, themes, and templates working directly from Figma design files and development notes in Asana
  • Build dynamic pages powered by HubDB tables, ensuring content is accurately structured and presented
  • Collaborate with the backend developer to implement frontend functionality for eCommerce, checkout flows, and membership self-service features
  • Apply responsive design principles and SEO best practices across all development work
  • QA your own development output to a high standard before handoff
  • Meet project deadlines and continuously improve efficiency without compromising on quality
  • Stay current with evolving HubSpot platform capabilities and frontend web development best practices
  • Accurately track time, document work, and report on progress across multiple concurrent projects

Requirements

MUST HAVES:

  • 6+ years of experience working in a front-end web development role
  • 3+ years experience customising and implementing websites and functionality in HubSpot Content Hub
  • React and TypeScript experience
  • Current HubSpot Content Hub Developer certification
  • Advanced experience with HubSpot Themes, Templates, Modules, and HubDB, hubl
  • Understanding of HubSpot standard object structure, associations, fields, and custom objects
  • Experience with mobile development, including responsive design, content management, and SEO best practices
  • Experience working in an agency environment with cross-functional teams

PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have)

  • Experience with code collaboration in Git
  • Experience of HubSpot serverless functionality
  • Understanding of HubSpot REST API
  • Understanding of React and TypeScript
  • Understanding of API endpoint usage and OAuth authentication
  • High-level understanding of AWS tools, AWS experience (read-only, no coding required)
