Job Description: Senior Epic General Pharmacy Billing Consultant
Position Type: Contract (W2)
Certification Requirement: Epic Certified (required)
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in initiative-related meetings to represent revenue cycle interests and provide subject matter expertise
- Identify and communicate downstream impacts of pharmacy build decisions on Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Billing (PB), and Claims teams
- Provide build guidance, advising on how proposed builds affect billing workflows and revenue cycle outcomes
- Collaborate closely with billing team members to support and inform build efforts
- Support the expansion of compound medication offerings within the Epic pharmacy build
Required Qualifications
- Epic certification (required)
- Demonstrated experience across all HB, PB, and Claims modules
- Strong background in Epic build, with the ability to translate build decisions into revenue cycle impact assessments
- Proven experience as a revenue cycle consultant in a healthcare/Epic environment
Required Certifications
- Epic HB Certification
- Epic HB Claims Certification
- Epic PB Certification
Ideal Candidate Profile
A well-rounded revenue cycle professional who is comfortable working cross-functionally, can speak knowledgeably to both technical build considerations and downstream billing/claims implications, and has direct experience supporting pharmacy-related Epic builds.
