We at Coforge are hiring Senior Data Engineer (#22047) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and optimize scalable ELT/ETL pipelines and modern data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python.

· Build and maintain robust data models, transformation workflows, and cloud-based data platforms that support analytics and reporting.

· Implement DevOps best practices by managing CI/CD pipelines, GitHub version control, automated deployments, and data pipeline reliability.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready data solutions while driving technical best practices and mentoring junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with strong expertise in modern data platforms.

· Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and advanced SQL/PLSQL.

· Strong knowledge of ELT/ETL development, Data Warehousing, Data Marts, and dimensional data modeling.

· Experience designing, building, and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines.

· Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub.

· Strong Python skills for data processing, orchestration, or automation.

· Experience working with semi-structured data formats such as JSON and XML.

· Previous experience in the insurance domain.

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and reporting solutions such as Power BI.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to mentor team members and drive technical best practices.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with Sapiens platforms.

· Knowledge of cloud-native data architectures and optimization strategies.

· Experience implementing data quality and governance best practices.

· Exposure to performance tuning and cost optimization for cloud data platforms.

· Experience leading technical initiatives and contributing to long-term data strategy.
