About the role

You support the Chief Compliance Officer and act as their trusted delegate in key professional matters. You work independently and collaboratively, providing expert guidance on compliance, sustainability, and regulatory topics. Your role combines advisory, project work, and operational excellence across global compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a senior advisor on regulatory compliance, sustainability (including EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive – CSRD), and data protection topics
• Develop and implement compliance frameworks, including policies, standards, guidelines, and internal controls
• Drive initiatives to prevent fraud, bribery, conflicts of interest, and support investigations when required
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects, ensuring compliance requirements are embedded in business processes
• Serve as key interface for due diligence requests, audits, and compliance-related inquiries; deliver training and awareness initiatives

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex compliance topics clearly and build trusted relationships across all levels
• Proven expertise in compliance, ESG regulations, and regulatory monitoring; financial services experience is a plus
• Independent, structured, and results-driven working style with strong project management capabilities
• Experience in developing controls and translating regulatory requirements into practical solutions
• Business-fluent German and English; additional languages are an advantage
