The Team
Monetization and Market Intelligence (MMI) at Jobber is accountable for shaping our monetization roadmap and driving smarter revenue growth through market insights, competitive intelligence, and optimized pricing strategy. This cross-functional team supports Go-to-Market (GTM), Product, and Finance partners with both core pricing strategy and l pricing programs that unlock revenue.
Our mission is to help Jobber win in a competitive SaaS market by maximizing value capture at every point in the customer lifecycle and enabling teams with best-in-class pricing strategy, processes, and guidance.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Monetization, the Senior Commercial Pricing Manager owns Jobber's commercial pricing capability — setting strategy, building the systems, and leading the cross-functional programs that drive revenue quality across all of our go-to-market motions.
You will design, govern, and operationalize pricing programs that help Jobber win more business while protecting and expanding net revenue. You build and establish frameworks that help improve our promotion efficiency, drive channel pricing and payments revenue across direct and self-serve channels. You will operate with authority across Sales, Finance, RevOps, and Product, with a direct seat at the table when packaging and pricing decisions are made.
You will help build the commercial pricing function and establish the durable processes that enable Jobber to price with discipline and win with confidence.
The Senior Commercial Pricing Manager will:
Own Jobber's commercial pricing strategy across all revenue motions — sales-assisted, self-serve, channel/franchise, and fintech/payments — and drive continuous improvement in revenue quality and price realization.
Set and evolve the commercial pricing philosophy — discount architecture, deal authority framework, exception governance, and the principles that align sales execution with revenue goals.
Architect and lead the deal desk function, including tooling, workflows, approval tiers, and the operating model that enables scalable, high-velocity commercial execution without sacrificing governance.
Design new commercial models exploring opportunities like contract structures, intentional discount logic, and offer architecture for our largest customers — translating their complexity into a repeatable, scalable commercial approach.
Own the promotional strategy across all motions, setting the framework for when Jobber runs promotions, at what depth, for which segments, and how to measure whether they are creating value or training the market.
Support Jobber's payments incentive strategy, designing how pricing offers accelerates payments adoption, owning the test-and-learn roadmap.
Operates as Jobber's commercial pricing authority across Sales, Finance, RevOps, and Product and serves as the internal expert when complex commercial trade-offs need to be made.
Build pricing intelligence as a capability: discount elasticity signals, win/loss integration, competitive benchmarking, and a test-and-learn framework that makes commercial pricing decisions continuously smarter.
To be successful, you will need:
Extensive years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue optimization, deal desk design, or commercial operations — ideally in B2B SaaS or subscription businesses.
Demonstrated track record of building or leading a commercial pricing or deal desk function from the ground up
Proven ability to work with and influence CRO, CFO, and VP-level stakeholders on commercial pricing strategy and trade-offs; experience presenting pricing insights and recommendations.
Strong quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to model discount economics, measure price realization, and design test-and-learn frameworks.
Experience defining commercial pricing KPIs and building reporting that connects pricing decisions to revenue outcomes.
Outstanding communication skills — able to translate complex pricing dynamics into clear, compelling narratives for any audience, from a sales rep to the CFO.
Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Finance, RevOps, and Product without formal authority; comfortable leading through influence in a high-stakeholder-complexity environment.
Courage to act in high-stakes, ambiguous situations — able to make sound decisions with imperfect information and hold positions under commercial pressure.
