We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building secure, automated, and highly available cloud platforms while enabling engineering teams to deliver software efficiently at scale.
You will own infrastructure throughout its lifecycle, contribute to platform reliability, automate cloud operations, and collaborate closely with engineering teams and technical stakeholders to define infrastructure best practices.
Your Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure supporting production applications
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, and related automation tools
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms
Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
Design and maintain cloud networking, CDN, and infrastructure security across distributed environments
Implement monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, and observability solutions to improve platform reliability
Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement long-term infrastructure improvements
Optimize cloud environments for performance, availability, security, and cost efficiency
Mentor engineering teams on DevOps methodologies and cloud infrastructure best practices
Leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, and operational workflows
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer
Strong hands-on experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure in production environments
Expertise with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, or similar tools
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms
Strong experience managing Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized production workloads
Experience implementing observability solutions using Grafana, Datadog, Kibana, CloudWatch, or similar platforms
Experience designing and managing CDN solutions such as CloudFront or Akamai
Solid understanding of networking protocols, cloud networking, and infrastructure security
Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems and scripting using Bash, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
Experience supporting production systems and performing root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues
Ability to effectively use AI-assisted development tools to improve infrastructure automation and engineering productivity
Fluent English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating large-scale distributed cloud platforms
Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization and infrastructure scalability
Experience working in Agile software engineering environments
Previous experience mentoring engineers and promoting DevOps best practices
Consulting or client-facing experience within modern software delivery organizations
