Industry - Mission-Critical (Data Center Project)
Responsibilities:
-SCADA System Design: Collaborate with project teams to design and develop SCADA systems tailored to specific industrial processes and requirements.
-System Implementation: Configure, program, and deploy SCADA hardware and software components, including Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Programmable Logic
-Real-time Monitoring: Continuously monitor SCADA systems to ensure the stability, security, and performance of industrial processes. Respond promptly to alarms and abnormalities.
-Data Analysis: Analyse real-time and historical data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues. Develop strategies for process optimisation based on data insights.
-Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve SCADA system malfunctions and software bugs. Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and system backups.
-Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect SCADA systems from unauthorised access, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.
-Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SCADA system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
-Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including automation engineers, process engineers, and IT professionals, to ensure seamless integration of SCADA systems with other infrastructure c components.
-Compliance: Ensure SCADA systems adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols, such as NIST, ISA-95, and IEC 62443.
-Training: Provide training and support to operators and maintenance teams to enhance their understanding of SCADA systems and troubleshooting capabilities.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
-Proven experience as a SCADA Engineer or in a similar role.
-Proficiency in SCADA software platforms (e.g., Siemens WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition).
-Strong knowledge of industrial automation protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, DNP3).
-Familiarity with PLC programming and configuration.
-Understanding of network design and cybersecurity principles for SCADA systems.
-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
-Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining system reliability.
-Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards is a plus.
-Certification in SCADA or industrial automation is advantageous.
