We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our Fixed Gas Detection Systems business in Greece and selected international markets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market growth targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, EPC contractors, consultants, distributors, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage distributor and partner networks.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

Technical Support

  • Provide technical guidance on fixed gas detection solutions and applications.
  • Explain system design, installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting requirements to customers.
  • Support integration of gas detection systems with plant control and monitoring systems.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for customers, distributors, and partners.

Customer & Market Development

  • Promote company products at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
  • Support marketing initiatives and lead generation activities.
  • Develop long-term relationships with strategic accounts and key decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Chemistry
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales of Fixed Gas Detection Systems, industrial safety equipment, instrumentation, or related industrial products.
  • Experience working with industries such as Marine, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Power Generation, Manufacturing, or Mining.
  • Good understanding of gas detection principles and sensor technologies (Electrochemical, Infrared, Catalytic Bead, PID).
  • Familiarity with international safety standards such as ATEX, IECEx, UL, MED, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, HART, and 4–20mA.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to conduct technical training and product demonstrations.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
